Rebirth: Super Banking System

Seeing his aunt making a phone call, Tang Qing went straight back to his room. He guessed this phone call wouldn’t end in less than ten minutes. He talked to his parents on the phone just before the exam a couple of days ago. He didn’t go and get involved in what was happening.

As expected, more than ten minutes later, his aunt finished the call and came to Tang Qing’s room happily, saying:

”Tangtang, your mother just gave you an extra one hundred yuan for spending this month. She said that you should keep it up, otherwise, your father will personally come and hit you. Hehe.”

”Erm... I don’t need more pocket money. I received a reward of five hundred yuan for coming first in the exam. That’s enough for me.” Tang Qing said with a smile. As for getting beaten? Hehe, his mother would never let his father hit him. If his father dared to hit him, his mother would definitely hit his father.

”I didn’t know. I didn’t even tell your mother, but since it’s given to you, keep it. Save it for when you go to Jiaxue’s place, and buy more items. If it’s not enough, just ask your aunt. But please never tell your mother and them.” His aunt thought for a while and said. She treated Tang Qing as her own son and didn’t find it necessary to manage finances too strictly with Tang Qing.

Tang Qing heard this and didn’t refuse any more. However, he was filled with gratitude in his heart. Auntie still didn’t know that he had shares in the restaurant. Tang Qing held back and didn’t say anything. He had to wait until Chinese New Year to apologize to her properly. Facing such loving family members, Tang Qing felt very fortunate.

”Mom, what were you talking to my brother about?” At that moment, the front door opened, and Qin Shiqi returned, followed by her little sister, Qin Shiyu. Both of them were carrying a lot of food. It seemed that the exam went well. Otherwise, Qin Shiqi wouldn’t dare to indulge herself at this time.

”Shiqi, what did you buy? You’re wasting money. You only know how to eat. If you didn’t do well this time, I’m going to teach you a lesson.” As soon as the aunt saw Qin Shiqi carrying the food, she started lecturing her.

”Agh, my dear mom, why do you keep changing your nickname for me? ’Shiqi’, ’Qiqi’, ’Shiqi’, ’Eldest’, ’Daughter’, ’Girl’, ’Little Qi’... Can’t you stick to one nickname?” Qin Shiqi pouted with dissatisfaction.

”You are my daughter. I can call you whatever I like. Do you object? Don’t try to divert my attention. Tell me, how did you do this time?” Aunt replied humorously. Sometimes she also felt she somehow starts calling whatever comes to her mind. Qin Shiqi complained about this many times. However, sometimes she just blurted out without control.

”Of course, I did well. How can your smart daughter perform poorly?” Qin Shiqi said, boastfully.

”Bring your paper and show me. If you have fallen in the rankings, watch how I deal with you. This month, don’t even think about having pocket money,” aunt threatened directly.

”Here, here, luckily it didn’t get lost, otherwise, you would have scared me to death.” Qin Shiqi complained as she opened her bag and took out her papers. To pass the inspection from her aunt, she had rolled up all her papers like Tang Qing.

”Hmm, it’s okay. What’s your ranking in your grade?” Aunt looked through her papers, calculated the total score, and then nodded.

”Nineteenth.” Qin Shiqi sat on the sofa and started to munch on an apple, while her second cousin returned to her room minding her own business.

”Just okay, you still need to work hard.” Aunt closed the papers and handed them over.

”Just okay? Mom, is it really good to be so hard on your daughter?” Qin Shiqi was dissatisfied when receiving her papers.

”I’m not being hard on you, look at your brother, ah, he ranked first in his grade this time.” Aunt immediately shifted her frustration towards Tang Qing.

”First? Are you kidding?” Qin Shiqi exclaimed in surprise.

Even her second cousin poked her head out of the door and looked at her aunt curiously while leaning against the door frame. The expression on her face was so cute that Qin Shiqi thought it was adorable.

”Silly girl, why would I lie to you? You should learn from your brother.” Aunt scolded with a laugh.

Hearing that, Qin Shiqi immediately ran to Tang Qing’s room and stared at him curiously for a while before asking: ”Brother, are you really my brother?”

”I’m not.” Tang Qing replied grumpily.

”Mom, he said it, he’s not my brother.” Upon hearing that, Qin Shiqi immediately ran out and said.

”...”

”...”
