Rebirth: Super Banking System

Chapter 76: 68 Palms, it’s great to have you guys (looking for recommendations!)_1

The following day was one of showing-off for Tang Qing. He was called to the blackboard to explain problems all day. But Tang Qing did not mind it. It helped him deepen his understanding.

Well, except for Chinese, Tang Qing was basically first in all other subjects. In Chinese, he didn’t even make it to the top five in his class. Throughout the lesson, the Chinese teacher looked at Tang Qing with resentment. This made Tang Qing uncomfortable because, although his Chinese score was not bad, it was a bit inferior compared to his first-place ranks in the other subjects. ”No comparison, no damage,” he thought. What will the school leaders think?

He is the number-one student in all other disciplines, so why can’t his Chinese make it into the top five?

Could this be a teaching issue?

Putting aside whether Tang Qing studies Chinese diligently, the only person they questioned was the teacher. After all, they can’t pull Tang Qing aside and ask him why his Chinese scores are so average, right?

Unless the school leaders are absurd, all they can do right now regarding Tang Qing being the top student of the grade is to have the teacher teach better. Other subjects are brilliant, meaning there’s no issue with the student’s learning ability. So, the only one left to question is the teacher.

Therefore, the Chinese teacher was now under immense pressure. Yet, what could he do? He couldn’t force Tang Qing to focus solely on his Chinese. As the top student of the grade, not any teacher could reprimand Tang Qing indiscriminately.

For that day, Tang Qing practically had no homework. He just remembered a few textbooks. In his view, textbooks are the most fundamental resource. With a solid foundation, even if the questions changed, it would not matter.

Since his rebirth, he did not buy any extracurricular tutorial or exercise books. What’s the point of buying them? Is he trying to waste time? In his opinion, having a strong understanding of the school books made exams a lot easier. Combined with the regular homework practice, Tang Qing did not need to blindly do problems to gain a sense of security.

Tang Qing, who was eating while walking, returned home. It didn’t seem like his two cousins had returned yet. Otherwise, he would definitely have heard his elder cousin, Qin Shiqi’s voice when he entered the house.

At that time, his aunt had also come back and was sitting on the sofa watching TV, eagerly waiting for Tang Qing’s results. As for her own daughter’s results, she was not particularly worried. The results were probably the same as usual, not much change. Unlike Tang Qing, who had advanced hundreds of places in the past. She was eager to find out how Tang Qing did this time.

”Tangtang, is this really true? Are you really first of the year?” His aunt, seemingly in disbelief, looked at the papers in her hand.

715 points?

First place in the grade?

This... was quite...she couldn’t believe that Tang Qing had jumped to the first place in the grade. Yet, the score of 715 points and confirmation from Tang Qing himself didn’t allow her to doubt.

”Auntie, it’s definitely true. It’s clearly written in black and white with red correction. Why would I lie to you?” Tang Qing said with a bitter smile. Having experienced the surprise from many people all day, he was somewhat exhausted. He didn’t feel superior at all.

However, since he was already the top student, people would definitely not be as surprised next time. He felt relieved. But, he felt that this day with seemingly nothing happening was more exhausting than a normal school day. He was mentally tired.

”Tangtang, I’m so happy! I have to call your mother and report this. They should also rejoice.” Auntie immediately stood up excitedly. She always called Tang Qing’s parents every time his monthly exam ended. Tang Qing’s parents were overjoyed with his tenth place last time, this time he jumped straight to the first place. Continuing like this, getting into Tsinghua University or Peking University wouldn’t be an issue.

After finished speaking, aunt turned around and went into the bedroom. She didn’t have a mobile phone. She generally saved money and didn’t use it very often. The school office has a phone, so she never bought one. Qin Yugang bought a phone because of work. Anyway, he could claim some of it back.
