Chapter 481: Chapter 257: Component Quality Promotion – Song Chi’s Choice_2

“`

The [Phantom Thruster] is a key component for advancing the agility of the Cang Qiong. Should it be upgraded to Orange Quality, it would surely enhance the ship’s agility substantially.

[Plasma Guardian] is an artifact for personal survival and also the reason Song Chi feels confident every time he leaves the Cang Qiong.

As for the [Void Escape Orb], this component is a god-level artifact on the Cang Qiong for both pursuit and survival. If it could be enhanced to Orange Quality, it would also be excellent.

After much deliberation, Song Chi suddenly remembered the colossal Tri-Eye Race flagship. More than a year had passed, leaving him with very little time to continue exploration.

With this in mind, Song Chi extracted another Blue Quality component from the Ancestral Torch.

Control Spirit Ring lv0

Quality: Blue

Feature: Two additional remote control quantities

…

Looking at the feature of this top-rank Blue remote control component, although it didn’t explicitly state that the number of Brainwave Imprints would increase by two, the additional +2 for control quantity assured Song Chi that once this feature was integrated into the [Brainwave Remote Control System] component, the end result would inevitably be an additional two Brainwave Imprints.

Thus, counting the original one, Song Chi would be able to remotely control three Soldier Figurines simultaneously.

The significance of this feature, naturally, is that it allows him to divide and explore three different routes at the same time, greatly improving the exploration efficiency of the Tri-Eye Race flagship.

With that thought, Song Chi’s flickering eyes became resolute, and he directly used a slightly lesser Silver Apple on the [Brainwave Remote Control System] component.

Of course, before merging, Song Chi first strengthened the Purple Component to lv40. After all, if it were upgraded to Orange Quality, further enhancement would require adherence to Orange Component standards, and pre-emptively strengthening it to Fourth Rank could save a considerable amount of resources.

Soon, the component completely transformed from Purple to Orange Quality, also integrating the Blue Quality [Control Spirit Ring] component.

Brainwave Remote Control System lv40

Quality: Orange

Consumption upon activation: 300/second (Spectral Energy Points)

Feature: When the owner of the warship is marked with a Brainwave Beacon, the Torch Warship can be remotely controlled in reverse.

Feature 2: Two additional remote control quantities

Effect: Upon activating the component, a Brainwave Beacon can be condensed. Creatures or mechanical entities marked with the Brainwave Beacon may be remotely controlled.

Control Distance: 10 light-years

Duration: 36 hours; Buffer: 2 hours

UpRank Requirement: Four strands of Fourth-Rank Floating Land Origin, 90,000 Spectral Energy Points, 50 tons of Soul Crystal, 62 Titanium Crystals, 3 Law Stones

After reviewing the attributes, Song Chi nodded in satisfaction. A control distance of 10 light-years was indeed a terrifying figure, and in the future, if Song Chi truly wished to remain hidden, it would be very difficult for anyone to discover his existence as a behind-the-scenes controller.

Shaking his head, he then began the test that he cared most about.

The doors of the Cang Qiong opened, and three Void Assassin Clan Soldier Figurines flew out one after another. One raced along the central street towards the deepest part of the Ruins Market, another turned and exited through the entrance of the marketplace, and the third soared into the air, speeding above the marketplace.

Soon, laughter echoed from inside the Cang Qiong.

“Just as I thought, the number of Brainwave Imprints increased directly from one to three. In the future, I will be able to control actions or combat in three different directions, greatly increasing the exploration speed for the colossal Tri-Eye Race flagship.”

Now, with his Spiritual Force reaching the state of Sevenfold Mind Utilization, controlling three Void Assassin Clan Soldier Figurines to act separately was not a difficult task for him.

Once his emotions stabilized,

Song Chi withdrew his attention from the Orange Quality [Brainwave Remote Control System] component and focused on other components of the Cang Qiong.
