Stinging heart

I wanted to keep trying to live the way I wanted to live.

The car stopped at the door of the hotel. Jordan got out of the car, went to me, opened my door, and directly carried me out of the car.

The action was so smooth that I was brought into the hotel before I could react.

”Jordan, what are you doing?” I opened my mouth and tried to push him away, but when I spoke, I felt weak. I was so dizzy that I didn’t have much strength.

He let me down and we went straight into the elevator. Before the door closed, he pressed me against the wall of the elevator, imprisoned me, and his eyes flashed longingly with his hands on my face. ”Don’t hide from me, let alone refuse me!”

I froze. I didn’t know why he suddenly raised his hand and tried to push me away, but by this time he had blocked me already. I could only stand there without any restraint.

Fortunately, there was no one in the elevator, otherwise, it would be very embarrassing.

He took away all the oxygen inside the elevator, so I had difficulty breaking. I felt powerless while trapped in his arms.

He picked me up, opened the elevator door, and carried me directly into the room.

The light in the porch was turned on, and he squeezed me between the wall and his chest once again, as his deep eyes fell on me. ”I won’t let you go again.”

This was like what he said to himself before, and now to me.

I opened my mouth, breathing a little, ”Jordan, I...”

”Don’t talk. I don’t want to hear anything!” His long fingertips pressed against my mouth.

I pursed my lips and frowned at him. ”Jordan Astley, stop playing around!”

Instead of talking nonsense to me, he picked me up and went straight to the queen-sized bed.

Pressed by him on the bed, I tilted my head and avoided his eyes.

He reached out, held my head with both hands, stared at me closely, frowned, ”So where do you want to hide?”

I had no more escape. I couldn’t help looking directly at him. ”So what? What does it mean to you? Are you going to lock me here while I’m sleeping? What else are you going to do?”

His voice stiffened and his eyes were fixed on me. ”Can I do that to you?”

I scratched my eyebrow, and deepened my look at his eyes, ”What can I do otherwise? I already told you, I don’t love you, and now you force me here. Isn’t this what you want? Isn’t that what happens to those women who are kidnapped by strange men?”

”Oh, Ivelle!” He sneered and held my hand a little tight. ”You know a lot, huh?”

I pursed my lips and didn’t look at him. ”I just naturally learned this from other people!”

He was probably so angry with me that he took a deep breath, got up, and went straight into the bathroom without saying anything.

I was a little baffled by him, but I didn’t know what to do for a moment.

Sitting on the bed a little distracted, I suddenly felt a little tired. All the way here, I seemed to be on the run.

I’ve been running around like a headless fly, and in the end, I didn’t even know what I wanted.

Grace called me and said, ”Sister, have you fallen into a pit? Why did you go to the bathroom and never went back anymore? Why did you just disappear?”

Her voice was so loud that my brain started buzzing. I pulled my phone away for a while. After a while, I said, ”I’ve gone home. I just had something to do so I left early. I’m sorry I forgot to tell you.”

The woman on the other end of the phone was a little freaked out, ”Went home? You and who? Don’t you live with Boss Preston? If you don’t wait for him, who did you go with?”

That was too much.

After a pause, I said, ”I’m with my friends from the capital. The people I introduced to you today. By the way, are you still in the box?”

”What time is it? If you don’t look at the time, how can we still be in the box?” Her voice was still too loud. ”I’m too old. I can’t help it. I can’t stay up all night. By the way, I forgot to tell you. Boss Preston is drunk tonight. You should pay attention to protect yourself and lock the doors and windows.”

”Did you give him a drink?” This man probably wanted to get in trouble tonight.

She smiled cheaply and said, ”Oh, in fact, I didn’t want to drink with him at first, but I thought that there were so much rich and handsome men around me. If I missed the opportunity, I would have no choice but to marry Jimmy Huntington and I would be embarrassed to brag to everyone my husband in the future. If I can have a relationship with this kind of man, I will have a husband to brag about in the future.”
