Stinging heart

I notice that he put something on my wrist, I lowered my eyes and saw an emerald bracelet.

As I was looking up at him, I was puzzled, ”Why did you bring this to me all of a sudden?”

There was a lot of jewelry at home, but I usually don’t wear them, so I often look a little shabby when I go out.

He smiled and said, ”Jade nourishes the heart with no influence.”

I nodded and said nothing more. I just looked down at the bracelet and couldn’t help saying, ”The piles of jade bracelets that uncle gave me are so precious that I didn’t even wear them once. Where did you get this bracelet?”

He folded his lips and combed my long hair. ”The last time Felix went on a business trip to Myanmar, he bought it on the way. It wasn’t expensive.”

I don’t know about jade, but I know in my heart that it can’t be as simple as he said. The color and texture were particularly pleasing to the eye, it was not something that you could buy on the road.

The next day.

The sun came out in the Capital, and I vaguely heard a doorbell ring downstairs. After relaxing for a long time, I realized that today was the New year. My aunt and the Biden Family would come today.

Suddenly, as I sat up from the bed, Jordan was up. After a brief wash, I went downstairs and saw Jordan and Andrew were drinking tea in the living room. Blossom was sitting beside Andrew with snowballs and a pile of new toys in her hands.

In the kitchen, Erin and Alice were cooking, and they were still seemed to be chatting. Almost in an instant, I suddenly thought of a word, new year.

Jordan was the first one to notice me. He said with a smile, ”Oh. You are awake already.”

I blushed, nodded, and went downstairs.

Alice came out of the kitchen with a shrimp porridge in her hand and said, ”We’re going to eat later. However, you have to eat something light first. We’ll be a little late for lunch.”

I nodded and subconsciously took it, and she turned around and went back to the kitchen. As I was looking at Jordan, I was still a little distracted. He waved to me and said, ”Come here!”

When I sat next to him, I looked at Andrew in hindsight and said, ”Have you been here for a long time?”

Andrew smiled, shook his head, and said, ”No, I just arrived for more than ten minutes.” Then he looked at me with full eyes and said, ”I have to eat more but I should lose weight again.”

I laughed at his remarks.

After a few bites, Alice came out of the kitchen and looked at Jordan, and said, ”Be careful not to eat much. We will make dumplings later.”

Jordan nodded. He got up and went to the kitchen, leaving me and Andrew, although we are related to each other, we also seem to have nothing to say.

He noticed the bracelet on my wrist. He paused slightly and said, ”This bracelet is made of good material.”

I was stupefied for a moment and said, ”Well, Jordan brought it back from Myanmar.”
