Pampered by Short-Lived Bigshot

This kid was actually using a story as a pretext to settle accounts with him?

Did his second brother not give him any pocket money? Why was he raised to be such a little miser?

Jiangjiang didn’t study as diligently as Taotao, often lazy in cram school, possibly due to boys having more of a playful nature than girls, even earning a perfect score in abacus calculation was rare.

Now he pulled out a little abacus and handed it to Taotao, ”Sister, I’ll report the amounts, you calculate the total, let’s see how much Uncle Four owes us in total.”

Jiang Chengsi’s head started to hurt.

The two kids, one reported numbers while the other moved the abacus beads, coordinating remarkably well.

However, Taotao showed a bit of conscience, ”Brother, isn’t it too much? Isn’t it a bit inappropriate?”

”How about we give Uncle Four a two percent discount?”

Jiang Chengsi’s head throbbed; a two percent discount? Was that really significant, even his position as Uncle Four only earned him a two percent discount.

”I still think it’s a bit much.” Taotao pursed her little lips.

In his heart, Jiang Chengsi thought, nieces are still the best, understanding and considerate of their uncle.

”Right, it’s not easy making money, and now having a girlfriend costs money too.” Jiang Chengsi stated plainly.

Taotao nodded, ”Then how about we give Uncle Four a five percent discount.”

From two percent to five percent...

Taotao being so well-behaved, understanding, studious, gentle, it was surreal hearing her say something like this.

During the New Year, Jiang Chengsi had already been extorted for a sum by the two little fellows, and he truly didn’t dare give them any more. Being small in age but having a hefty sum, if they did something with it, his second brother would absolutely kill him.

So he tried negotiating with them:

”How about this, I’ll give you a little pocket money, the rest I can take you out for treats, or to an amusement park. Didn’t you always want to go to the aquarium? Or during a long holiday, I could take you to Disney.”

The allure of amusement parks is considerable for kids, and the two little ones were genuinely swayed.

”Let me and my sister discuss.” Jiangjiang took Taotao aside.

”Sister, didn’t you always want to go to Disney?”

”Mom and Dad said they’d take us during summer vacation, so why should we go with Uncle Four?”

”That’s true, but Uncle Four can take us for yummy treats.”

”If we had money, we could go eat on our own, whatever we wanted.”

”Seems like that’s the case.”

...

The three of them were in one room, and the so-called discussion, Jiang Chengsi could hear their dialogue crystal clear.

He took a deep breath, suddenly feeling that this seemingly harmless little niece might actually be more scheming than Jiangjiang.

Eventually, Jiang Chengsi still had to give them money but set terms with them not to use the money for any mischief or anything. Jiang Chengsi mentioned he would later deposit the money into a bank card they had.

The bank card was under his name, and after coaxing the siblings to sleep, Jiang Chengsi logged into online banking to check.

The money he put in during New Year was untouched by the two, with no spending or transaction records whatsoever.

Asking for money without using it, what on earth were these two little devils planning?

He specifically asked Jiangjiang, why they kept shaking him down but didn’t spend the money. Jiangjiang’s response almost made him spit blood:

”Not using it now doesn’t mean we won’t need to spend it later, and if you offer up money, it seems inappropriate not to take some, mainly because...”

”Having money gives me a sense of security.”

You little brat who hasn’t even grown all his hair, talking to me about a sense of security? Exactly how did my second brother torture you usually?
