”Why are you cycling when you’re so drunk?”

”None of your business, don’t interrupt my drinking.”

Jiang Jinsang had no choice but to inform Qi Zeyan to temporarily add a room to settle Jiang Chengsi in.

”I know, you and Sister-in-law go ahead, I’ll take care of him.” Normally, Qi Zeyan would have left him on the street, but since it was his engagement day, he was in a good mood.

”Then I’ll leave Fourth Brother to you.”

”Alright, you hurry back with Sister-in-law and the kids.” Qi Zeyan still had many relatives and friends to send off and didn’t have time to entertain Jiang Jinsang. They were so familiar with each other that there was no need for formalities.

Jiang Jinsang gave a few more words of advice, looking somewhat helplessly at the person not far away who was still drinking alone.

After Jiang Jinsang left, Qi Zeyan busied himself with entertaining the Ruan Family’s relatives and friends. Their friends and family were enthusiastic, with some even suggesting going to karaoke after the engagement celebration.

”I have some things to deal with here. I’ll have someone book a room for you guys; you go ahead and have fun. I’ll join you later.” When it comes to serious matters, Qi Zeyan was very proper.

”Brother-in-law, you promised, make sure you come later.” Ding Dabao had already started school and took time off to come back especially for this.

”Alright, you take them there first.” After sending them off, on the way back to the banquet hall, Qi Zeyan ran into Ruan Mengxi, who was in charge of escorting the elders of both families to rest.

Tonight, the elders of the Qi Family and the Ruan Family had drunk quite a bit. Even the old man Qi was genuinely joyful, inevitably drinking a lot.

”Have they all been sent back to their rooms?” Qi Zeyan had booked rooms in the hotel and since he himself had been drinking, he couldn’t drive. Thus, both families stayed at the hotel.

”Yes, here’s the room card for Fourth Master.” Ruan Mengxi fished out a room key card from her pocket.

”Jiang Chengsi, what on earth is he doing here being all gloomy at my engagement? After sending him to his room, we have to go to the karaoke, Dabao and the others are waiting for us.”

”We can also skip it, let them have fun on their own.”

”Are you tired today?” Qi Zeyan placed his hand on her shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze.

In his heart, he wondered if this might be a good opportunity to improve his relationship with Ruan Mengxi since all the elders were drunk and asleep tonight.

Laying out his plans, Qi Zeyan returned to the banquet hall to find only a few hotel staff cleaning up the tables.

Jiang Chengsi—

He was gone!

”Maybe he went to the restroom? He drank quite a bit; maybe he went to puke.” Ruan Mengxi suggested bluntly.

”I’ll go check.” Qi Zeyan frowned.

Jiang Chengsi, you really know how to create problems for me.

As it turned out, when Qi Zeyan reached the restroom, it was empty.

”Where could he be?” Ruan Mengxi frowned. ”He drank so much; he couldn’t have gone back on his own!”

”I go—”

At this moment, Qi Zeyan couldn’t care less about his disheveled look, considering that Jiang Chengsi was drunk and could do anything. Might he have ridden off on that flashy scooter? Probably ending up in a ditch by the roadside.

He rushed downstairs and found the scooter still there, so he asked the front desk staff, ”Did you see Jiang Chengsi?”

”Fourth Master?” Jiang Chengsi was quite a well-known person. With his striking looks, the hotel staff naturally had a vivid impression of him.

”Yes, we saw him.”

”Did he leave?”

Qi Zeyan tugged at his tie. Where on earth did he go, always causing trouble for him? Hopefully, nothing happened.

”Yes.”

”He did leave; which way did he go?”

By this point, Ruan Mengxi had also followed him down and heard the front desk staff say:

”It was a girl, right? She helped him outside, but I’m not sure which way they went. That girl wasn’t with you?”

When Ding Dabao’s group left, Jiang Chengsi was the only one in the banquet hall. Where did this girl come from!

Qi Zeyan realized something wasn’t right:

Could Jiang Chengsi have been ”picked up”?

Who had the audacity to take someone from his engagement party?
