Pampered by Short-Lived Bigshot

Capítulo 789: 480 The Sliest Operator is Jiang Wuye, and the Most Flamboyant is Xiaosi (3 updates)_2

He had originally thought that at the very least, he’d have a silly bird for company, but then Elder Tang laughed three times, “Let’s have Daidai join the photo shoot as well, it’s also a member of our family.”

No one had any objections.

Jiang Chengsi: “…”

What exactly was he considered? Even a mere bird was more significant than him?

…

The photo shoot itself didn’t take long, but finding locations, posing, deciding on camera angles, and setting up lighting; after several days, Tang Wan was exhausted.

However, the pictures that came out were indeed beautiful. The photographer had selected some and sent them to her, asking which she liked, so they could retouch them, create albums, enlarge them, etc…

It took several days of being busy before she finally had time to rest.

Tang Wan had been busy with the wedding dress photo shoot, and the elders at home were worried; although she wasn’t showing yet, she was still carrying twins, after all. Fortunately, everything went smoothly without any troubles.

Elder Tang had always praised the child for being obedient, and Tang Yunxian also said that the child would certainly be as well-behaved as Tang Wan after birth.

The time taken to shoot the wedding dress photos flew by quickly, and before she knew it, she had already spent more than ten days in Pingjiang. Right after the end of the noon rest, she received a message.

[Xiuhe is ready. If you’re free, I can bring it over for you to try on.]

Tang Wan made a call back. She had initially planned to go there herself; it didn’t seem right to let someone help alter her clothes and still have to come over to her.

“I’m already out. I have some errands, and the clothes are in my car. If you’re at home, I can drop by later with them.”

“That would be trouble for you.”

Tang Wan knew in her heart that she wanted to gift the Xiuhe dress to her, so after hanging up, Jiang Jinsang saw her rummaging through her belongings, taking out a box, and picking out several Cyan Feather pieces that were kept at the bottom of her chest.

A Yingluo Necklace and tassel hairpin, she matched an entire set for her, placed it in an elegant box, but still felt it wasn’t enough to repay her kindness, given that those were her treasured collections.

“We didn’t thank her for the last time either; let’s invite her to dinner tonight,” suggested Jiang Jinsang.

“Shall we go out?” It was too late to prepare a banquet at home at this time.

“Then I’ll make the arrangements.”

“Right, mention it to Shuci.” She had always been saying that she needed to return the favor for the clothes, “Invite Big Brother Huo and Xiaosi too, as they have also been working hard on the photo shoot recently.”

“Xiaosi seems to have gone out with Grandpa to walk the birds, and Old Huo is with my maternal grandparents.”

“Huh? Walking birds?” Tang Wan frowned, understanding why Huo Qinqi was accompanying her maternal grandparents was one thing, but…

“Since when did Xiaosi have this kind of hobby?”

“I’m not sure.”

Jiang Chengsi was idle, and he also got along very well with the elders. Elder Tang especially liked taking him out, and he couldn’t keep refusing the old man’s kindness. After a few times, he became a regular at the small park.

He even learned Tai Chi.

Now a group of grandparents all knew him, and some even wanted to introduce him to a potential match, with overwhelming enthusiasm.

“Maybe we should call him later to check, so he won’t complain about us going out without him,” Tang Wan said with a smile.

…

The Xiuhe dress was delivered quickly, and it fit Tang Wan perfectly when she tried it on.

“But I didn’t make the waist very tight; you can adjust it yourself. I was worried that you might not feel comfortable wearing it later when you start showing,” she was quite considerate.

Tang Wan gave her gifts, and from the look in her eyes, one could tell she really liked them. After some polite refusal, she accepted them, but she didn’t really want to go out to dinner, feeling there was no need.

“I’ve taken your dress, and I haven’t thanked you for the previous matter. Just eating a meal—if you don’t agree, I really won’t feel at ease.”

“The things you’ve given me are also quite valuable, dinner really isn’t necessary.”

Despite her repeated declines, she couldn’t convince Tang Wan otherwise.
