Mr Fu, I Really Love You

Over these few months, Yun Liuli’s longing for Gu Qingcheng had been increasing by the day. But she could still numb herself by keeping busy.

But today, when she heard news of Gu Qingcheng’s ”death”, she suddenly felt like she could take it no longer!

Her thoughts even started running wild. What if Gu Qingcheng didn’t fake his death properly and ended up dying for real!

Yun Liuli wrapped her head with a blanket. Lin Nuan was on the phone with Fu Huai’an downstairs. The servant brought milk and sandwiches up to Yun Liuli, but Yun Liuli said that she didn’t feel like eating and asked the servant to take it away…

Fu Huai’an, Lu Jinnan, Tang Zheng, and Bai Jinyu were on their way back from the airport.

Fu Huai’an, Lu Jinnan, and Tang Zheng all knew the truth. The only one who was kept in the dark was Bai Jinyu…

When Bai Jinyu heard of Gu Qingcheng’s death, he went along to Sri Lanka with them without even applying for leave. When he saw Gu Qingcheng’s corpse, which was burnt beyond recognition in the morgue… Since that day, he had grown much thinner, and his chin was bristly and unshaven.

Since young, because Bai Jinyu was the youngest amongst them, he was the one most taken care of!

Later, Fu Huai’an went to the army, and the person who took care of him the most was Gu Qingcheng. Although Gu Qingcheng was quiet and of few words, he would always give Bai Jinyu money when he visited Bai Jinyu!

Bai Jinyu refused the money, but Gu Qingcheng would say that the expenses in school were big, and he would ask Bai Jinyu to take the money and eat and learn well with it!

Gu Qingcheng was aware that Bai Jinyu’s family couldn’t help him.

To Bai Jinyu, Gu Qingcheng… was just like his older brother.

When he first saw Gu Qingcheng’s corpse, Bai Jinyu didn’t believe that it was Gu Qingcheng and insisted on DNA verification.

Fu Huai’an, Lu Jinnan, and Tang Zheng allowed Bai Jinyu to kick up a fuss. When they came, Bai Jinyu brought along Gu Qingcheng’s DNA data, which had been recorded while Gu Qingcheng was seeking his kin. With that as a reference, he did a DNA test on the corpse together with the forensic doctor…

It turned out to really be Gu Qingcheng!

When Bai Jinyu saw the results of the DNA test, he finally accepted this. He rubbed his face with both hands and started crying out loud.

Fu Huai’an held Bai Jinyu’s shoulders. Listening to his cries… Lu Jinnan and Tang Zheng’s eyes reddened as well. They turned to look out the windows.

Since it was confirmed to be Gu Qingcheng, they had to bring Gu Qingcheng back home.

In the hospital, Bai Jinyu asked Fu Huai’an about who killed Gu Qingcheng…

Fu Huai’an merely said, ”In Old Gu’s line of work, he offended too many people, so as of now, it’s still unclear. Moreover, with our capability, we’re not able to discover who it was.”

After Gu Qingcheng was cremated, Fu Huai’an and his group decided to bring Gu Qingcheng’s ashes back home.

Early the next morning, when Fu Huai’an and his group arrived at the Fu residence with Gu Qingcheng’s ashes, Lin Nuan and her family, as well as Yun Liuli and the servants at home, had already changed into black clothing.

It drizzled lightly that day. Fu Huai’an carried Gu Qingcheng’s ash urn with both hands, and Little Lu was holding up an umbrella while helping Fu Huai’an pull open the car door…

When Yun Liuli saw the ash urn in Fu Huai’an’s hand, the tears that finally stopped were unleashed again.

Braving the rain, she walked over. As she stood before Fu Huai’an, her eyes on the ash urn, she bit her lower lip hard. She took the ash urn from him and held it tightly to her chest.
