Mr Fu, I Really Love You

Chapter 336: I Feel Wronged!

Although what had taken place at Tianfu Bay today was certainly not as serious as having an extramarital affair, one could perhaps say that it had the makings of the start of an affair.

Lin Nuan had heard what Chu Xun said.

Back then, when Chu Xun’s mother had mentioned Fu Huai’an and Chu Xun’s future, he should have rejected her outright. Perhaps, they might not be in this awkward situation now.

Then again, that had taken place many months ago, when Lin Nuan and Fu Huai’an weren’t a couple yet. That was his past, and she shouldn’t be dragging it into the picture.

Yet, something from his past was affecting them presently. History should stay exactly where it should have been—in the past.

Why didn’t he sort out these complicated relationships right after they got together?

Fu Huai’an could tell that Lin Nuan wasn’t pleased. He stifled his chuckle, and as Lin Nuan walked down the stairs, he said, ”Is someone jealous?”

Lin Nuan took a long gaze at Fu Huai’an and remained silent as she walked to the dining table. She bent over to sort through the documents given to her by Liu Mingchen, ruffling the papers forcefully on purpose.

Fu Huai’an grinned and stood behind Lin Nuan as he rested one hand on the dining table and the other against the backrest of the chair, encircling her.

He leaned towards Lin Nuan and spoke in a hushed tone. ”I didn’t even do or say anything. She was the one who took off her clothes, and you’re angry with me? I feel wronged!”

Lin Nuan held the papers in her hands and arranged them in a neat pile on the dining table. She said indifferently, ”Well, let’s see if you can react just as calmly if a man were to undress in front of me and I didn’t do or say anything.”

”Lin Nuan, let’s discuss this rationally.” Fu Huai’an lowered his deep and mellow voice as he pressed his body against her back.

Her hands paused midway, she pursed her lips and didn’t reply. Then, she lowered her gaze and pulled the papers towards her chest, clutching them tightly against her body.

She recalled how Chu Xun had asked Fu Huai’an if he would like her to make the first move. Lin Nuan knew that Fu Huai’an probably enjoyed that, since he had been dropping hints to her, asking when she would be making the first move.

Here she was, still thinking of how to keep her sense of shame in check while watching adult videos to learn tips on how to please Fu Huai’an and there, someone else had already undressed and was throwing herself at him.

Lin Nuan didn’t mind what Chu Xun had said to her in the office this morning.

But now, she could feel her blood boiling and she with simmering with rage.

Was it that hard for Fu Huai’an to simply tell her, ”I am married”?

If he had made it clear to Chu Xun in the first place, she wouldn’t have undressed in front of him.

This was typical of Lin Nuan’s character—stubborn and fixated on the little details.

Although she had faith in Fu Huai’an, she couldn’t help but feel aggrieved.

She clutched the documents tightly, turned around, and pushed Fu Huai’an away at arm’s length. ”Sorry for the tone I took…”

As she finished her sentence, Fu Huai’an planted a kiss on her lips. Sensing her nonchalance, he stopped and said, ”I should be the one apologizing. Sorry, I didn’t handle things appropriately, something like this will never happen again! Don’t be angry, okay? Mrs. Fu?”

Lin Nuan didn’t look at him and merely nodded in a perfunctory manner.

”Raise your head and look at me!”

Fu Huai’an’s voice was inherently authoritative and sounded more like a command that one had to obey.

Lin Nuan raised her head.

As their eyes met, Fu Huai’an could see that Lin Nuan’s eyes were teary. He smiled and said teasingly, ”I should be the one feeling aggrieved. I was at home minding my own business when someone just barged in and undressed in front of me, and now my lover is mad and taking it out on me. Isn’t this unjust and shouldn’t I feel wronged? Huh?”
