Mr Fu, I Really Love You

Chapter 267: Best Actor, I Want to Have Your Baby!

He carried himself in a dignified manner, with the presence of someone who was worldly-wise. Even the profile of his back view stood out among the crowd, exuding a sophisticated and masculine charm that attracted the attention of others.

He tapped the cigarette ashes occasionally into the rubbish bin as the warm lights from McDonald’s streamed out through the glass windows, defining Fu Huai’an’s strong and masculine features. He raised his hand to look at his watch, and his thin lips parted, white mist emitting from within.

Lin Nuan’s heart skipped a beat unexpectedly.

Amid the white mist, his sight seemed to turn towards Lin Nuan intuitively.

Fu Huai’an put out the cigarette in the ashtray on top of the rubbish bin and ended the call before placing his phone back into the pocket of his suit.

The two ladies standing next to Lin Nuan noticed Fu Huai’an gazing in their direction. They flushed and whispered among themselves.

”My heart is fluttering. Is he looking at us?”

”I think so, oh no, I should have put on some makeup before stepping out of the house…”

Lin Nuan blushed and pushed the trolley next to Fu Huai’an, she looked up at him and said bashfully, ”Why are you here?”

”It’s raining. How are you going to bring all these back by yourself?” Fu Huai’an said smilingly as he took out the two big bags of groceries from the trolley.

Lin Nuan took out her umbrella from the trolley and returned it. As she turned and opened the umbrella, a large warm hand had already reached out to pull her slim figure into his embrace, blocking out the chilly winds.

He carried the two bags with his right hand and hugged her using his left. The fusion of his masculine scent with that of his body wash and a whiff of tobacco gave Lin Nuan a strong sense of security.

Lin Nuan flushed and held the umbrella higher to avoid blocking his sight.

The pitter-patter of raindrops could be heard falling on the umbrella. She asked, ”Why didn’t you give me a call, what if I wasn’t at this supermarket?”

”This is the only supermarket within a stone’s throw of your house, where else could you be?” Fu Huai’an grinned and said in his charming and soothing voice.

The car was parked nearby. Fu Huai’an opened the passenger door for Lin Nuan before he loaded the groceries into the trunk and drove off.

Fu Huai’an answered a call on the way home—it was regarding Fu Tianci. Lin Nuan felt bored and decided to scroll through her Weibo feed.

@SuManMan: Best actor, I want to have your baby! //@ShiHanChu: //@SuManMan: I deleted the posts related to Lin Nuan—what was the point of keeping such fake content? So what if Wen Moshen was preparing to confess to Lin Nuan? Which one of you hasn’t been confessed to before? Would you admit you had been intentionally seducing people if they confessed to you? There is a concerning amount of idiots out there! Are they self-righteous or downright idiotic? Would someone seriously wait for someone that likes them for five years after he disappeared, without being able to work? With no choice left but to find him in Iraq? For those who said the Iraq War was gruesome, that you pitied the innocent who died there, since you’re so self-righteous, how could you bear to be alive?

Things had taken an unexpected turn for Lin Nuan.

Although Gu Hanyan hadn’t taken any action, the trending term on Weibo’s search was no longer the love triangle between Wen Moshen, Lin Nuan, and Gu Hanyan. Instead, it was the topic of Su Manman wanting to bear a child for Shi Hanchu!
