Global Era of Star trekking

It’s no wonder people are so skeptical—the results of this challenge are indeed eye-watering.

They have all been through this and know that the first few trials of the Star Tower involve combat against Eighth Rank Eight-Armed Snake Demons of the same level as the challengers, ordinary Eighth Rank Eight-Armed Snake Demons that have not yet comprehended the Power of Laws. If they struggle so hard in the initial trials, it would be almost impossible to pass the final trial.

...

Unaware of these concerns, Song Chi continued with his previously determined plan.

The second trial took him nearly four hours.

In the third trial, he faced three ordinary Third Rank Eight-Armed Snake Demons, and it took him just over four hours to complete.

The fourth trial, with four ordinary Third Rank Eight-Armed Snake Demons, took him more than five hours.

The fifth trial, against five Eight-Armed Snake Demons, took him almost six hours.

It was not until the sixth trial that the challenge finally changed; there was still only one Third Rank Level Eight-Armed Snake Demon, but this time it had comprehended the Law of Earth, and its Law Comprehension Degree was not low, above 0.2%.

Song Chi needed only a little more than three hours for this trial. It was not that an Eight-Armed Snake Demon that had comprehended the Power of Laws was inferior to five ordinary ones but that in this kind of battle, Song Chi’s own combat experience was also improving.

The Eight-Armed Snake Demons themselves possessed tremendous combat talent, and each close combat exchange taught Song Chi a great deal.

The seventh trial was against two Third Rank Eight-Armed Snake Demons that had comprehended the Power of Laws, taking him over four hours.

The eighth trial, with three demons, took him nearly five hours.

Just like that, time slowly passed, and before he knew it, two months had flashed by.

Even though Song Chi was primarily concerned with the speed of passing the trials, with the accumulation of time, he had already cleared through fifty challenges.

After the tenth trial, instead of Fourth Rank Level Eight-Armed Snake Demons, there were Third Rank Eight-Armed Snake Demons with deeper comprehension of the Law of Earth.

By the forty-sixth trial, what appeared were Third Rank Eight-Armed Snake Demons with a 1% Law Comprehension Degree of the Law of Earth.

Trial fifty.

Looking at the five Third Rank Eight-Armed Snake Demons that had fallen in succession, Song Chi’s eyes flickered uncertainly.

”Five Third Rank Eight-Armed Snake Demons with a Law Comprehension Degree reaching 1% in the Law of Earth, that’s quite generous...”

It should be known that these were merely at the Third Rank Level. For Third Rank beings to raise their Law Comprehension Degree above 1%, this would definitely rank within the top 5% of Cruiser Captains among his own Torch Human Civilization. Being able to offer such level of Eight-Armed Snake Demons for the trial, he could imagine the enormous energy behind the Big Dipper Seven Stars Hall.

Although he marveled at this, he didn’t find it too astonishing.

After all, with their Genetic Lineage Value reaching above 81 points, these Eight-Armed Snake Demons were naturally favored by the Law of Earth. Among their kind, there were actually many who could comprehend the Law of Earth to such a degree at the Third Rank Level; it was not as rare as within the Torch Human Civilization.

”I wonder what the 51st trial will bring? Will it still be Third Rank Eight-Armed Snake Demons, or will it be Fourth Rank?”

With these questions, Song Chi began the 51st challenge.

As a towering figure of an Eight-Armed Snake Demon, standing over three thousand meters tall, appeared, Song Chi already knew the answer in his heart.

This Fourth Rank Level Eight-Armed Snake Demon was of the kind that had not comprehended any Law at the Third Rank Level. Therefore, after the Fourth Rank Level Law Amplitude Phase, its Law Comprehension Degree of the Law of Earth remained at only 9%, which although much higher than Song Chi’s own 0.48%, was still within a manageable range.

But now, Song Chi was somewhat conflicted, wanting to continue his previous plan of actual combat while worrying that the Cang Qiong’s main body might suffer significant damage.
