Global Era of Star trekking

Chapter 595: Chapter 314: [The Floating Land Origin Core Stealing Ceremony]_2

This Shouyuan civilization really doesn’t know what sustainable development is; they act without considering the consequences for virtually anything and everything.

Song Chi’s brows were tightly knitted together as he thought to himself that if he had been born within such a civilization, he would likely feel despair.

Whirring!

Having confirmed the lack of substantial value, Song Chi naturally did not linger. The spatial jump device activated, and he set off once again towards the second level 3 Starry Sea Floating Land guarded by a Shouyuan mothership.

Over ten days later, he successfully resolved the second target as well.

However, this time he had learned his lesson and did not sink the Shouyuan mothership; instead, he completely deprived it of its ability to resist before taking control of it.

...

With this in mind, the “Origin Core Harvesting Device” inside the Shouyuan mothership remained intact, but the bad news was that this piece of equipment wasn’t a Strange Object.

Since it was not a Strange Object and could not be disassembled from the Shouyuan mothership, in order to make use of this special device for himself, he had to package the entire Shouyuan mothership along with it, and a group of knowledgeable Shouyuan Race individuals had to be brought along to operate the mothership.

The Shouyuan Race was not a big problem; they could either be detained in the cages located in Cang Qiong’s hanger or placed within the Ruins Market Secret Realm.

Of course, the Cultivation Secret Realm was not included in this; it was currently undergoing secret realm acceleration. Centuries were passing by rapidly, perhaps many generations would have already cycled through by the time he returned, and without a proper education system, those newly born members of the Shouyuan Race wouldn’t know the first thing about operating the mothership.

The difficulty lay in the Shouyuan mothership itself, a behemoth that was twenty thousand meters long.

Thinking about it, Song Chi naturally thought of the [Proportional Scaling Instrument] component. Now at enhancement level 40, it was not only effective on the Shouyuan mothership, which was also a fourth rank unit, but the maximum scaling ratio had also reached 200 times.

Soon, the Shouyuan mothership transformed from a twenty-thousand-meter leviathan to a small and exquisite warship of a hundred meters in length and was easily taken into Cang Qiong’s hanger.

Upon successfully securing the opponent in the hanger, Song Chi was quite pleased; this meant he could one day actively use it to extract from the Floating Land Origin Core, which would undoubtedly bring significant profits for himself.

However, despite his contentment, he wasn’t entirely satisfied.

After all, the upper limit of this “Origin Core Harvesting Device” was apparent; it had value, but its capabilities did not reach an outrageous level, especially considering that the time required for it to extract a Floating Land Origin Core was not significantly shorter than if a fourth rank lifeform performed the extraction manually.

Therefore, Song Chi still had a greater desire in his heart for a device that could be converted into a shipboard component.

After dealing with the second Shouyuan mothership, Song Chi’s subsequent actions were the same as before, beginning to scavenge the nearby level 3 Floating Land, though the result was still much the same.

Like the previous Floating Land, the value of this level 3 Floating Land had also been nearly fully stripped; he barely managed to secure any truly valuable resources from it.

With no other choice, Song Chi could only proceed to the final Floating Land.

This level 3 Floating Land, named Shouyuan 001, was the fundamental Floating Land of the Shouyuan civilization. Originally a peak level 3 Floating Land, just one step away from level 4, it had regressed to ordinary level 3 status due to prolonged exploitation by the Shouyuan Race.

However, as the civilization’s fundamental Floating Land, the last two Shouyuan motherships were stationed near this Floating Land.

For a cruiser of respectable strength, this might pose some trouble, but for Song Chi, the difference between fighting one or two motherships really wasn’t much.

The Flame Giant only made a brief appearance before easily intimidating both ships, which Song Chi then successively took over one after the other.
