As for which specific component?

Actually, it was a [Water Molecule Isolation Outer Membrane] of purple quality that Song Chi had traded for from a water region creature at the last Ruins Market.

With this [Water Molecule Isolation Outer Membrane], the Cangqiong could transform into a submarine-like vessel and delve into the depths of the northern region’s water marshes for exploration.

So, as long as there are deep-water clams in those marshes, it would be nearly impossible for them to evade the Cangqiong’s close-range detection.

It was for this reason that Song Chi had thought about making a trip to the Northern Region.

Even though the Northern Region was mostly under the control of the Blackwater Xuan Snake, which was effectively controlled by the Soul Spirit Clan.

But with this special component, coupled with the already replaced [Neutron Star Core Armor] on the Cangqiong, Song Chi was confident enough that even if he encountered about five Third Rank Blackwater Xuan Snakes, or even those enhancing with the Floating Land rules at the Peak of Third Rank, the Cangqiong would still have the power to fight.

At worst, he was confident of a full retreat.

One day later, the Cangqiong soared into the sky from the southern 14th defensive line of the Soul Go Mountains and headed north.

There were no others with him this time, and after saying goodbye to his grandfather, Song Chi started his journey alone.

Song You was too weak, and with the Northern Region not being so peaceful, Song Chi had the willingness but did not dare to take him along.

If anything unexpected happened, even if his grandfather and uncle said nothing, he would not be able to get over it himself.

Moreover, he had already taken Song You to earn more than three hundred thousand Merit Points in the previous year, which should be enough for his lavish spending for the short term.

Before entering the Northern Region, Song Chi had activated two components ahead of time: the [Void Membrane] and [Sonic Silence Field], thus, the arrival of the Cangqiong was silent and unnoticed.

Neither the Song Family warships wandering above The Vault of Heaven nor the Blackwater Xuan Snakes lurking at the bottom of the water detected this uninvited guest’s arrival.

His eyes constantly scanned the [Silver III Generation Super-Wave Magic Energy Detection Radar], and after finding an area with no energy fluctuations from Second and Third Rank creatures nearby, the Cangqiong turned and plummeted straight towards the water below.

The Northern Region consisted of many large and small water marshes, the smallest with a diameter of just a thousand miles, while the largest spanned hundreds of thousands of miles, much larger than the Blue Star of the previous world.

The first landing spot chosen by Song Chi was a small water marsh with a diameter of only two thousand miles.

It wasn’t that he didn’t want to go to the medium or large water marshes; those with a higher level of water marsh were more likely to foster deep-water clams.

But he had no choice, as those medium and large water marshes either had Song family Torch Warships patrolling above or housed many Third Rank Blackwater Xuan Snakes at the bottom, making it hard to find an appropriate entry point into the marshes.

The Cangqiong was equipped with the [Sonic Silence Field] for silencing sounds and the [Void Membrane] for hiding the warship’s hull, not the kind of component that could phase the hull itself.

Once submerged in the marsh, the water disturbances caused by the 120-meter-long hull were not to be underestimated, and without an appropriate spot, it would inevitably attract a lot of attention.

Therefore, Song Chi had to settle for the next best thing.

Whoosh!
