Global Era of Star trekking

Having extrapolated this far, Song Chi stopped pondering and calmly waited for the [Silver III Generation Ultra-Wave Magic Energy Detection Radar] to finish generating the subsequent star chart.

During the wait, Song Chi also harbored a faint sense of anticipation.

After enhancing it to lv30, the [Silver III Generation Ultra-Wave Magic Energy Detection Radar] component’s detection range had reached 1530 light hours, and the radius of the star charts generated by the collector’s feature could even reach 44 light-years.

That is to say, the diameter of the star charts generated by the magic energy detection radar hereafter could reach 88 light-years.

With a star chart of such scope, there was a high probability it would fully illustrate the extent of this asteroid belt, and he was somewhat curious as to just how far this stretch of asteroid belt could possibly span.

As time passed, after several dozen minutes, over twenty minutes before Cang Qiong was due to return, the star chart from the [Silver III Generation Ultra-Wave Magic Energy Detection Radar] was finally produced.

Upon taking a closer look, Song Chi’s eyebrows rose slightly.

Indeed, as he had anticipated, this star chart did fully reveal the asteroid belt before him.

And the final result showed that the length of this asteroid belt turned out to be an astonishing 21 light-years.

This was a staggering figure, and even if it was fully condensed, this number would be greatly reduced, far from reaching the scale of the Dragon Spine Continent, but the immensity of this asteroid belt’s area could not be denied.

After a brief moment of amazement, Song Chi turned his attention back to the prompts about the biological energy fluctuations; his first priority now was to find a suitable mining area.

With the assistance of the semi-automatic shipboard intelligence, he quickly located several suitable mining spots.

The asteroid belt was large enough, and there were quite a few humanoid alien species, but not so many as to cover the entire asteroid belt.

Moreover, Song Chi noticed that the distribution of these humanoid alien species had a clear pattern—they occupied zones that, on the star chart, formed an irregular sphere.

Clearly, the center of this sphere was close to where their lair or temporary dwellings resided.

He mentally noted this down, resolved to investigate the area in detail later on.

Song Chi found a suitable mining spot and then activated the [Purple River Translocation Device]; twenty minutes later, Cang Qiong translocated to a void area five light-years away.

Upon successful arrival, the doors of Cang Qiong swiftly opened, and ten Furious Tiger Mining Carts along with two standard civilian interstellar mining ships emerged in succession, plus a Third Rank member of the Soul Spirit Clan and that Third Rank Blackwater Xuan Snake.

The task assigned to this Third Rank Soul Spirit Clan member was simple—just to manage the ten Furious Tiger Mining Carts and the two mining ships steadily, and to exploit the nearby resource points.

Both the mining carts and ships were equipped with semi-automatic intelligence, so all that was required of it was to supervise the overall mining operation while the specific mining tasks could be performed autonomously by the mining carts and ships.

Before returning, Song Chi also handed the [Ruins Market Walking Rank] token to this Third Rank Soul Spirit Clan, so it could enter the Zhu Tian Ruins Market at any time through this token, ensuring that the various mined ores could be delivered to him in real-time.

As for whether the [Ruins Market Walking Rank] token would be used when the Ruins Market next opened, Song Chi, who could reclaim the token at any moment, wasn’t worried in the slightest.

If any alien species really wanted to exchange for the [Ruins Market Walking Rank], he could retrieve the token from the Soul Spirit Clan member with just a thought.

In the end, Song Chi also sent a copy of the star chart generated by the Magic Energy Detection Radar to the civilian mining ship, so the Third Rank Soul Spirit Clan could have a clearer understanding of the surrounding resource point distribution, boosting the efficiency of subsequent mining operations.
