Global Era of Star trekking

Without paying attention to the specific attribute changes of the ”Silver III Generation Ultra-Wave Magic Energy Detection Radar” components after strengthening to lv30, Song Chi immediately turned his gaze back to the radar screen in front of him.

More specifically, his eyes landed on the detection prompt at the current position of the Cang Qiong.

Soon, his eyes lit up. The energy fluctuation messages shown by the super-wave magical energy detection radar at lv30 were clearly much more than those at lv27.

Right now, at the location of the Cang Qiong, there was a brand new prompt.

Upon a closer look, it was indeed the energy fluctuation prompt from the intermediate rank soul stone vein below.

[426 Meters directly below, a significant energy fluctuation detected, 99% identified as intermediate rank soul stones recently added to the mineral resource database, 1% other, preliminary estimation indicates a medium vein, with more than 123,000 intermediate rank soul stones available for mining.]

After reading this message, Song Chi thought to himself, as expected.

It wasn’t that the ”Silver III Generation Ultra-Wave Magic Energy Detection Radar” was malfunctioning; rather, its ”magic energy detection” feature also had a limit to its effectiveness, capable of detecting no more than a hundred meters below the ground prior to being enhanced to the Third Rank.

Now enhanced to the Third Rank, Song Chi estimated that its detection depth should have reached around 500 meters.

Of course, this was in reference to the area within about a hundred thousand meters in radius centered on the Cang Qiong.

Once beyond this distance, detection depth and accuracy would be reduced to a certain extent, and past one million meters, this reduction would become increasingly severe, not to mention the normal detection range of the ”Silver III Generation Ultra-Wave Magic Energy Detection Radar,” which extended beyond the range of two Light Moons.

After pondering for a moment, Song Chi shifted his gaze to the previously unseen energy fluctuation message prompts on the radar screen ahead.

[One thousand three hundred meters to the north, 200 meters underground, a slight energy fluctuation detected, 98% identified as lower rank soul stone remnants recently added, 2% other, with an estimated 500 lower rank soul stones minable.]

[Two thousand meters to the northwest, 310 meters below the surface, a slight…]

[Five hundred meters to the south...]

Having inspected each new prompt, Song Chi soon felt helpless as these newly detected energy fluctuations were mostly lower rank soul stones or other common minerals, with a relatively low overall value.

Had there been ample time, slow mining endeavors could have been considered, but under the current circumstances, it wasn’t worth going to great lengths.

The area was still under the control of the Soul Spirit Clan; even with the means of a stealth warship and sound shielding, every mining operation still involved considerable risk.

As for after all the Soul Spirit Clan members in this Soul Spirit Floating Land were cleared out, by then Song Chi probably wouldn’t have involved himself any longer.

According to what his grandfather and his elder uncle had said, once every member of the Soul Spirit Clan on this Floating Land was eliminated, or even without a full cleanup, just a sufficient weakening of the Origin Core of the Floating Land...

A weakening enough to support the entry of the two Fourth Rank Clan Elders of the Song family, with their full strength, from beyond the Floating Land.

By then, the expedition mission would essentially be over, and all participants would receive withdrawal notifications from The First Direct Lineage immediately.

There’s no doubt about it, because it’s inevitable. This can be inferred from the fact that no other Fourth Rank Clan Elder has been dispatched by the family from the beginning to the end; once the mission concludes, this Soul Spirit Floating Land will quickly become the private domain of The First Direct Lineage.

Of course, it doesn’t mean that other branches of the Song family will no longer be able to come to this Soul Spirit Floating Land in the future, it just won’t be free anymore, and there will likely be strict limits on the quantity of Divine Soul resources collected each time here.
