Global Era of Star trekking

As Song Mingsong made his move, along with the main combat power of the two Third Rank Soul Spirit Clan subordinates— the ”Blackwater Xuan Snake”—being fully suppressed by the Thorned Flying Dragon, the battle ended quickly.

After the kilometer-long Blackwater Xuan Snakes were subdued by the Thorned Flying Dragon, the old man glanced at Song Chi.

”Go!”

Without any other implication, Song Mingsong prepared to cede one of the Blackwater Xuan Snakes to Song Chi for enslavement. After all, it possessed Third Rank combat power and a strong genetic bloodline, making it valuable for enslavement.

Naturally, Song Chi was pleased with this.

He had been short on Merit Points lately, resulting in only one drone, Zhao Lei, being enslaved by the [Enslavement Medal] component on the Firmament Ship, which failed to utilize the full potential of this Red Level enslavement component. A Third Rank Blackwater Xuan Snake was exactly what he urgently needed.

With the Thorned Flying Dragon by his side as a deterrent, the process of enslavement was straightforward.

Hiss hiss!

Through the ”Bridge of the Mind” feature of the Enslavement Medal, Song Chi quickly established mental communication with the Blackwater Xuan Snake. It sent him a series of excited hisses.

After teasing the Blackwater Xuan Snake for a while, Song Chi raised his gaze again, looking toward the depths of the underground cave below.

Those two Third Rank Soul Spirit Clan members with giant skulls and octopus-like lower bodies and numerous slimy tentacles were now an ashen color.

A subtle fluctuation was constantly shimmering on their overly large and somewhat misshapen heads— a soul wave force field based on their powerful Divine Soul Force surrounding their bodies.

However, compared to before, the soul wave force fields around them were notably weaker. Their combat beasts had been forcibly marked with a new layer of enslavement seals, rudely erasing their Soul Seals and causing them serious backlash.

Additionally, the inverse enslavement of the two Third Rank Blackwater Xuan Snakes, acting like a fuse, completely extinguished the last sliver of hope for survival in their hearts. Predictably, the two Third Rank Soul Spirit Clan members made a move that Song Chi and his companion expected.

Their tentacles twisted beneath them and soul wave energy surged on their surfaces as they moved quickly towards the God Tempering Fruit Tree they had been desperately protecting.

It seemed highly likely that they intended to destroy the God Tempering Fruit Tree before anyone else could.

Whoosh!

Just then, a sharp cold light streaked through the void, precisely striking the side of one of the Third Rank Soul Spirit Clan members.

Thump!

The Soul Shatter Dagger, which had sliced through the void, touched the soul wave force field, sending an unknown resistance back to the arm of the Void Assassin Clan Soldier Figurine.

However, it was greatly weakened and quickly sliced through the soul wave force field in front of the attack-focused Soul Shatter Dagger.

The cold flashing Void Blade pierced straight into the area connecting the Third Rank Soul Spirit Clan member’s tentacles and skull.

Not too big nor too small, the wound began to spurt light green blood outward.

Of course, the wound was a minor issue. Song Chi deliberately avoided vital areas. The key was the Soul Shatter Dagger’s Divine Soul-damaging attributes. Already weakened by the shattered Soul Seal, the Third Rank Soul Spirit Clan member was completely weakened after this strike.

Seeing this, Song Chi’s brainwaves sent a command to cease further attacks and instead targeted the other Third Rank Soul Spirit Clan member.

Behind him, the ten blazing Soldier Figurines that had resolved all Second Rank Soul Spirit Clan members came quickly. The Puppet Bodies surged with hot Spectral Energy, ready to assist Song Chi in dealing with this Third Rank Soul Spirit Clan member, but Song Chi hastily stopped them.

”Grandfather, just crippling them is enough, don’t kill them!”

Song Mingsong, who had been striding over and had shifted his gaze from the side where the [Divine Tempering Fruit Tree] was located, looked at Song Chi with a puzzled look:

”Do you want to enslave them? These are Third Rank Soul Spirit Clan members, extremely difficult to enslave. Even those in our clan with Orange Quality enslavement components can’t guarantee...”
