Global Era of Star trekking

(PS: In the last chapter, some readers asked why Song Chi insisted on promoting Cang Qiong instead of directly enhancing the main cannon, energy shield, and other components. The reason is here. Remember, warship promotion can enhance all base components comprehensively, and the same goes for future Cruisers and Zhulu Warships.)

Withdrawing his gaze from the [Dark Matter Energy Shield Generator], Song Chi looked at the three new secondary cannon slots that had appeared.

After the promotion from a Spectral Airship to a Guardian Class warship, although the main cannon slots didn’t increase—that would be something for a future promotion to a Cruiser—the addition of three secondary cannon slots means that a Torch Warship now has four secondary cannons, providing a small boost to its own firepower.

As for these three new secondary cannons, Song Chi had long planned for them.

The current [Electromagnetic Ray Cannon] already possessed a crowd control attribute, and for the remaining three secondary cannons, he would likely choose components that excel in slowing, armor breaking, or shield breaking.

He may also opt for those special secondary cannons with unique damage types.

For example, cannons that can deal additional damage to spiritual bodies, Divine Souls, etc.

In the upcoming expedition to the Soul Spirit Floating Land, the Soul Spirit Clan that needed to be confronted held great advantages in Divine Soul attributes, so equipping a secondary cannon capable of targeted damage would likely yield impressive results.

However, Song Chi did not hold much hope for such secondary cannons at the moment.

Long before Song Hengtong issued his mission, the clan had already quietly snapped up all the warship components that had special effects on Divine Souls—whether it was main cannons, secondary cannons, or special components—from the market by members of The First Direct Lineage.
