Global Era of Star trekking

As for why it was the Qingkong and not Song Mingsong’s Furious Lion, the reason was simple: the Furious Lion, as a Third Rank cruiser, spanned over a kilometer in length. A Torch warship of such volume would easily draw the attention of the interested.

The Qingkong was different, being a Second Rank Torch warship with sufficient speed and less likely to raise too much notice. It was the most suitable for travel.

However, at this moment, the face of the elder Song Mingsong aboard the Qingkong was a shade of furious green, clearly furious.

By his side, Bai Xiuqin shot him a look.

”Alright, how would you have the third child do it? Should we leave the base unguarded?”

Song Mingsong’s eyes bulged as his vehement voice echoed through the cabin.

”So leaving my two grandsons alone there was the right thing to do?”

Hearing the old man’s persistent harping, everyone in the cabin shook their heads helplessly.

Especially Song Hai and Song Yang, who, at that moment, silently mourned for Song Chao while also feeling extremely fortunate that they were not the ones left at the base. Otherwise, faced with such a situation, they too would likely have made the same decision and then be scolded bloody by the elder.

On one side, Song Shan, who had been silent for a while, also spoke up to persuade:

”Dad, the third brother had no choice, that was the most reasonable allocation. Besides, it’s not so easy for something to happen at the base. It’s been fine for decades now…”

Before he could finish, he was angrily interrupted by the elder: ”Got a bit advanced and think your wings are strong? You dare to lecture your father?”

At those words, Song Shan’s face went completely dark, and he dared not speak further.

Bai Xiuqin pinched Song Mingsong hard in the soft flesh of his waist and spat out with hands on her hips:

”All of you shut up for me and focus on the road!!”

...

In Chaotic Star Domain 0155, a region usually as desolate as ever. However, within this Star Region, a hundred-meter warship was slowly advancing, finally and stealthily slipping into an asteroid cluster.

The combined Illusion Base, accompanied by a burst of violent ripples, alerted Song Chi and Song Lin inside the base.

The two rushed out of the base at once, summoning their respective Torch warships. But upon recognizing the familiar warship armor of the incoming vessel, they called back their warships and stood smiling at the docking area, awaiting the landing of the Qingkong.

As they saw a dozen figures emerge from the Qingkong, the unprepared brothers were momentarily stunned but quickly recovered, their smiles growing even brighter.

”Grandpa, Grandma, uncle, aunt, second uncle...”

After a series of greetings, the group entered the base one after another.

Upon confirming with Song Chi and Song Lin that there had been no other movements from the Blood Blade Star Thieves over the past two months, Song Mingsong nodded in satisfaction and patted the two young men on the shoulders as if to say, well done lads.

His gaze then shifted and glared again at Song Chao, who followed behind. But before Song Mingsong could speak, Song Lin eagerly asked first:

”Dad, has the Mountain successfully advanced to Third Rank?”

With those words, everyone’s attention was immediately diverted to this matter, giving Song Chao a chance to exhale in relief.

Song Shan nodded with a smile.

”That’s right, the Mountain has successfully advanced to a cruiser.”

Song Chi and the others realized the reason why all the family members above First Rank had come together.

With the Mountain’s successful advancement and the addition of the Furious Lion, the family now had two cruisers’ combat power. Thus, they had absolute dominance over the Blood Blade Star Thieves.

”Does this mean we are finally going to take action against the Blood Blade Star Thieves!”

Song Chi and Song Lin simultaneously had the same thought arise in their minds, yet they both harbored some doubts.

Are we going to take action now? What about the Moruo Royal Family? Could it have been confirmed as a sham?

Song Chi also began to harbor doubts in his heart, ”Could it be that I was mistaken?”

The elders quickly discerned what the two were thinking, and Song Ming Song spoke kindly:
