Global Era of Star trekking

Pushing open the top-floor door, a number of safes arranged side by side were revealed, and judging from the ghost light emanating from the exteriors of these safes, they were certainly crafted from the most durable alloys of the Starshine Civilization.

Of course, this does not mean they were particularly hard to open, but realistically attempting to open all of them in a short span of time was clearly impractical.

Boom!

Just then, the wall to the side of the top floor suddenly boomed, blasted open from the outside with cannon fire, creating a large hole.

The ten Fire Peony Soldier Figurines were not panicked in the slightest; instead, they quickly took action, forcefully pushing several of the safes in the room towards the hole created by the blast.

Looking outside, the Cang Qiong was quietly floating parallel, less than five meters away from the hole.

As the safes were pushed one after another to the opening, Song Chi inside the Cang Qiong urgently activated the airship’s traction beam. Although the true traction stance requires a Spectral Warship of the Torch variety, a pseudo traction field of a slightly lower level is still available for Spectral Shuttles and Spectral Airships.

This pseudo traction stance’s pulling power was limited, but the safes in front of them were not the size of tiny asteroids or fragments tens of meters in diameter; the Cang Qiong could still stably pull them in.

Under the effect of this traction beam, several alloy safes were successively drawn into the cargo bay of the Cang Qiong. After this task was completed, the ten Fire Peony Soldier Figurines also leaped onto the airship, and then the Cang Qiong soared into the air, departing the capital city at top speed.

Above the Floating Land, the Cang Qiong sped through the gloomy mists, and this time Song Chi’s target was a massive city with a population exceeding 300 million.

He was well aware that more than 90% of the resources in the previous capital city had not been harvested yet, but there was no help for it. A full-sized Floating Land defense force was stationed on this Floating Land, which meant he couldn’t linger in the same city for too long.

The Cang Qiong was newly clad in Starshine V-type alloy armor. During the previous enhancement process, those tens of tons of Phantom Crystals had all been utilized, which now made it difficult for the radars on the Starshine Civilization’s starships to detect the Cang Qiong, as long as it did not reveal itself in front of their starships.

Based on this, as long as Song Chi maintained his hit-and-run tactic, the enemy would never be able to predict the subsequent cities the Cang Qiong would target, making it the safest operation plan.

The Starry Sea 001 was a Second Rank Starry Sea Floating Land. Just like that, the size of the defense force on this Floating Land also far exceeded that of an ordinary First Rank lifeform-type Floating Land. If that defense force were allowed to assemble, it would still pose a significant threat to the Cang Qiong, forcing Song Chi to remain vigilant.

The concentrated attacks from the Second Freedom Fleet before had left him a bit traumatized.

In this manner, using the same approach, Song Chi hit 6 more large cities in the hours that followed. The defenses at the administrative buildings in two of the cities were so unreasonably strong that when Song Chi saw he couldn’t break through their defense lines, he promptly chose to retreat; the other 4 cities did not present any unexpected challenges.

Among the starry skies at the periphery of Starry Sea 001 Floating Land, while the Floating Land defense forces were in disarray below, the Cang Qiong nearing its return trip had already left the Floating Land quietly.

Staring at the astonishingly large Starry Sea Floating Land below, a trace of regret surfaced in Song Chi’s eyes.

Over three billion alien races, ah. If only the main cannon aboard the Cang Qiong had been of the area-of-effect attribute, or perhaps some kind of wide-area explosive firepower, he could’ve just fired a few shots directly above several large and massive cities. In that case, the Floating Land’s Origin would have soared rapidly.
