Global Era of Star trekking

However, as time went on, disappointment gradually emerged in Song Chi’s eyes. The vault didn’t seem large, covering only dozens of square meters with not too many shelves inside.

But after he had looked at all the shelves, this idea was completely overturned.

Although there were not many items in the vault, they were all exceedingly rare objects. Aside from the common white relics, there were more than twenty blue oddities and even four purple relics, giving Song Chi a dazzling sensation.

Setting aside blue and white relics for a moment, among the four Purple Quality relics, Song Chi saw one that especially aroused his desire.

This relic, known as the ”Streaming Light Essence,” is born from an extremely special essence of the starry sea and can be converted into a special component called the ”Streaming Light Propulsor,” which can effectively enhance the cruising speed of a Torch Warship.

With a Purple Engine already in hand, the Cang Qiong had a sufficient energy supply. In order to convert this energy into increased agility and speed for the warship, what was needed was this thruster.

However, it was clear that he, who had acquired two Purple Relics in a short period, was unlikely to lay his hands on this Purple Thruster component any time soon, as it was part of the entire family’s wealth.

Besides, Song Chi saw many other extremely rare resources and treasures.

For example, a Starry Sea Tiankui tree heart that was several thousand years old; the Starry Sea Tiankui is a relatively common Starry Sea plant. However, that is only relative to other Starry Sea plants, and actually finding it in the vast Starry Sea is extremely difficult, not to mention killing it and preserving its most precious heart.

Just this piece of the Starry Sea Tiankui tree heart alone could extend a person’s life by 50 years; in the outside world, it would certainly cause an uproar.

Or, for instance, a fist-sized piece of ten-thousand-year-old volcanic lava iron essence, which is one of the special resources needed when a First Rank Torch Warship advances to Second Rank, and its value is extremely high.

After observing for a while, Song Chi did not find the Mercury Crystal he needed, or rather, there were no such resources in quantities of dozens or hundreds of tons on these shelves.

Seemingly having thought of something, he made his way to the deepest part of the vault and indeed found an alloy door marked ”Mineral Storage Room”.

If he wasn’t mistaken, those large quantities of mineral resources should all be placed in this Mineral Storage Room.

Indeed, as expected, shortly after entering the Mineral Storage Room, Song Chi found many moderately rare minerals, such as gas and uranium ores, and including the Mercury Crystals he needed.

After checking, Song Chi estimated that there were about 1200 tons of Mercury Crystals in this spacious Mineral Storage Room, which he thought should be roughly sufficient for the enhancement of the Dark Matter Energy Shield Generator components.

Summoning the Cang Qiong on the warship platform intentionally left open in the center of this Mineral Storage Room, Song Chi began to enhance it right there without intent to transfer the materials elsewhere.

The first enhancement wasn’t the Dark Matter Energy Shield Generator, but the newly acquired Purple ”Shadowcapture Antimatter Overstate Engine”. Only by enhancing this engine to a certain extent could he then confidently enhance the Dark Matter Energy Shield.

[Are you sure you want to spend 8 strands of Zero Rank Floating Land Origin + 500 Energy Points + 5 Zero Rank Life Cores to upgrade the Shadowcapture Antimatter Overstate Engine from lv0 to lv1?]

”Confirmed!”

He enhanced the Shadowcapture Antimatter Overstate Engine to lv20 in one go, using a total of 259 strands of Zero Rank Floating Land Origin + 478 strands of First Rank Floating Land Origin and some zero and First Rank Life Cores.
