Zhao Guofeng sat there looking dignified. After sweeping his gaze across everyone present, he said, “First of all, we welcome all media reporters and friends to the venue and will report this press conference worldwide. In recent years, especially after Earth entered the new era of ‘post-modern humans’, this was the first time Great Xia had held a press conference for the world. Therefore, we would like to express our welcome to the media workers in various parts of the country and abroad.”

Zhao Guofeng first exchanged pleasantries as usual before rushing to the main topic. “These few years are very important to the world. Under genetic experiments, various countries rushed into a new era and even established genetic laws and official genetic organizations.

“This press conference was held to let everyone know more about Great Xia. Although a new era had arrived, Great Xia had never stopped. It was just that the choices we made were different from the various countries.

“We reject genetic modification, but we don’t have the right to morally kidnap the scientific research progress of other countries. However, our Great Xia has its own path. During this period of time, there were rumors on the Internet that Great Xia was secretly researching genetic experiments, causing an uproar.

“I can tell everyone very responsibly that after Great Xia announced the end of the genetic experiment, we no longer undergo any genetic modification. Great Xia did not want to hide this, and there was no need to. For the sake of future generations, Great Xia was unwilling to choose such a potentially threatening development to raise the standards of the country. This had always been Great Xia’s attitude. That was to be responsible for the people.

“Of course, it’s hard to predict the future. Perhaps there will be greater progress in the study of genetic modification that will advance by leaps and bounds. You might even be able to resolve these hidden dangers. However, this is all in the future.”

Zhao Guofeng’s dignified voice was displayed in front of the entire world through the livestream channel. The attitude of the foreign netizens was a little intriguing.

“What do you mean? Why don’t we know what potential threat the Great Xia representative is talking about?”

“Isn’t the genetic technology used in the world the same? It can’t be that only Great Xia is a potential threat, right?”

“Why didn’t our country make any announcements about this?”

Zhao Guofeng’s words hit the nail on the head.

Every country has developed genetic technology to this extent. No one believed that their country would not know that genetic technology was dangerous. However, from the beginning to the end, they had never revealed it. They had not stopped the genetic experiment like Great Xia did, so the answer was naturally obvious.

For the sake of rapid development, the country selectively ignored the existence of threats. Their countries’ attitudes were completely different from Great Xia’s. This made Zhao Guofeng’s words like a slap to the faces of various countries.

“Please exercise the right to know that we should have. Is the genetic potion dangerous as Great Xia said?”

“Why did you keep us in the dark? I always felt that the gene potion was the future of humanity.”

“Please give us a reasonable explanation!”

Related comments began to appear in the livestreams of various countries overseas. The upper echelons of the various countries did not expect Great Xia to throw such a deep-water bomb. They seemed to be calm, but they had actually left a huge problem for the various countries. At the very least, they had to start thinking about how to appease the people of the various countries.

Of course, Great Xia did this on purpose. If you can attack us with public opinion, we can naturally do the opposite!

Zhao Guofeng was still speaking unhurriedly. “Many things have happened in Great Xia recently. A few days ago, some so-called international organizations made ridiculous comments. I want to state Great Xia’s attitude to everyone here. Since ancient times, Great Xia had always valued peace. Hence, Great Xia had never provoked any disputes internationally.
