The President is Being Shameless Again

When they were at work, they were employer and employee, but when they were out of office, they were senior and junior.

Liu Jiamu and Yan Huaian’s relationship never changed because of work.

Yan Huaian was very happy with their situation, and was also impressed with Liu Jiamu’s personality and attitude.

However, even if Liu Jiamu was Yan Huaian’s assistant, he would only take care of the important work. Yan Huaian also had a secretary who was responsible for his daily task, like arranging meetings with clients and so on. When Yu Zi wanted to visit Yan Hui, it was through Yan Huaian’s secretary and not Liu Jiamu. This was why she had never met Liu Jiamu before.

Since they were on the topic of Yu Zi, Yan Huaian gave Liu Jiamu a stare.

“Miss Yu is so beautiful, and she has a good personality. She said that since we’re neighbours, we can ask for her help whenever.” Liu Jiamu reported the things that Yu Zi had said to him back to Yan Huaian.

Yan Huaian had a glowing look on his face and said, “She’s very good.”

Liu Jiamu: “…”

Can’t you be a little modest?

All Yan Huaian could think about right now was Yu Zi’s face. He was chuckling softly and could not hide his cheerfulness. He had completely forgotten Liu Jiamu’s existence at that moment.

Nevertheless, Liu Jiamu was not afraid of him. He stepped over and waved his hand in front of Yan Huaian’s face.

When Yan Huaian snapped back to reality, Liu Jiamu teased him with his brows raised, “Senior, what were you thinking about?”

Yan Huaian, “…”

“Were you thinking about Miss Yu? If you miss her then you should just go over. She stays just opposite of us. Now that she’s living so close, you will be able to see her whenever you want.” Liu Jiamu teased.

Yan Huaian looked at him in disgust and said, “Why are you still here?”

“…” Liu Jiamu choked on his saliva and said, “If I’m not here, where would I be?”

“Everything’s in order. You can go now. Why are you still here?” Yan Huaian looked cold and ruthless. Liu Jiamu was so mad at him.

He stepped back a few steps and clutched his chest. “You… you… you betrayed me!”

Then, he ran out while pretending to sob.

Yan Huaia, “…”

There were a few boxes in the living room. These contained the daily supplied he asked Liu Jiamu to prepare for him, including his clothes, alcohol and so on.

He quickly took out a box cutter to cut open the tape on the box before putting away his things.

To make cleaning up more convenient, he took off his suit jacket. Then, he unbuttoned a few buttons on his shirt, exposing his collarbone. He also rolled his sleeves to his elbow, showing off his strong and muscular arms.

Eventually, he washed his hands and took a bottle of sparkling white wine from his wine rack.

He knew that Yu Zi’s alcohol tolerance was low. This sparkling wine did not contain a lot of alcohol, and was bubbly and sweet, so most of the girls who could not take alcohol would prefer this. However, he personally did not like this.

He took the bottle and looked at himself in the mirror. He thought he looked quite decent and not as messy as before. He looked relaxed and dashing with his unbuttoned shirt and rolled-up sleeves.

After contemplating for a while, he took a selfie of himself and sent it to 8×8 is 64.

He captioned his selfie with “Am I handsome?”

Yan Beicheng, “Granduncle, are you okay?”

Yan Huaian, “…Go to class!”

Yan Beicheng, “I don’t have class today.”

Yan Huaian did not want to talk to him anymore, so he closed the group chat and admired his own selfie. He thought that he looked good. 22-year-old Yan Beicheng would not know how to appreciate this kind of handsomeness that was a combination of matureness and modesty.

Thus, he confidently went over to the opposite unit and rang the doorbell.

However, even after a long time, no one answered the door.

Yan Huaian felt disappointed and mumbled, “Is no one home?”

He rang the doorbell a few more times, then waited for a long time. Sure enough, no one answered the door. Thus, Yan Huaian could only go back home with his head lowered.

Yan Huaian did not do anything after he got home. He moved a chair from the dining room to the door and sat down. Then, he pressed his ear to the door to listen to any movements outside.

Finally, he heard some noises coming from outside the door. When he got up and peeked from the peephole, he saw that Yu Zi was back.

There were bags and bags of groceries from the supermarket by her legs, and she was busy concentrating on opening the door.
