It seems that everyone’s choice is rather similar; as soon as the apprenticeship ended, they headed straight to the Merit Hall.

“Brother Lin, I’ve almost figured out the situation inside the Merit Hall. Shall I introduce it to you?” Yan Susen smiled.

He stayed there, just waiting for Lin Su to arrive.

“Sure, let’s go.” Lin Su nodded, and the two quickly stepped inside.

“The entire Merit Hall is divided into three areas: the trading area, the redemption area, and the task area.” Yan Susen explained as they walked.

“This is the trading area.” He quickly pointed to a certain section of the Merit Hall, “All the merit transfers between disciples, whether trading or gifting, need to go through here, and half a percent will be deducted as a handling fee.”

Lin Su’s gaze turned towards the trading area.

In the trading area, there were quite a few stone platforms, each with two slots identical in shape to the Merit Order. The disciples would place their Merit Orders into the slots, and once the transfer amount was confirmed, the merit could be transferred, and the fee would be automatically deducted.

“Requiring all merit transfers to go through here can prevent disciples from using methods that violate sect rules to transfer merit.” Lin Su understood, “Moreover, physical item trades are private, ensuring privacy this way.”

Having been the Sky Alliance Leader for more than half a year, he quickly spotted the advantages.

Compared to these advantages, the half a percent fee isn’t much.

“Exactly.” Yan Susen nodded in agreement, then pointed to another side, “That’s the redemption area.”

Lin Su followed Yan Susen’s direction with his gaze.

It was a tall counter where an epic-level Beast Tamer dressed in steward attire sat inside.

There were quite a few disciples queuing in front of the counter, each stepping forward to use their merit to exchange for various items. Next to the counter was a huge board densely packed with the various items available for exchange and the required contribution points for each.

“I’ve inquired; in the redemption area, you can use merit to exchange for various items, and you can also put your own items up for exchange for merit,” Yan Susen cleared his throat.

“However, when exchanging items for merit, the sect offers standard prices. If you want to exchange for more merit, it’s more suitable to find fellow disciples who urgently need the item.”

“The Mixed Element Stone obtained on the Heavenly Pride Battlefield can also be exchanged for merit here, but the price is extremely low since it’s used by martial experts and of no use to Beast Tamers.” Yan Susen shrugged, “Ten thousand Mixed Element Stones for one merit, I might as well keep it.”

Lin Su nodded in agreement.

This thing can be used for cultivation, and martial experts should still be interested.

Like Lin Su himself, his Space Ring already contained over a billion Mixed Element Stones; he didn’t intend to sell them. Half would be sent back to the Lin Family along with his collection of spirit weapons, and the other half might come in handy in dealings with martial experts.

“What about the Illusion Dream Stone?” Lin Su subconsciously asked, then silently closed his mouth.

He seemed to have asked a silly question.

“Do you think anyone in our sect would want the Illusion Dream Stone?” Yan Susen showed an exasperated expression.

Yesterday, Yue E gave them a rough tour of the Immortal Phoenix Sect, allowing these newly promoted disciples to witness several mighty immortals, but the most shocking was the Kun Venerate.

They witnessed with their own eyes how the Illusion Dream Stone was produced.

This thing was utterly worthless within the Immortal Phoenix Sect.

Remembering how everyone fought over the broken stones littering the ground in the Heavenly Pride Battlefield caused everyone to fall silent.

“The remaining area is the task area.” After introducing the redemption and trading areas, Yan Susen pointed to the not-so-distant rows of shelves crowded with disciples watching.

On those shelves were countless tasks hung up, requiring only the removal of a task token for registration to take on a task.
