Rebirth: Super Banking System

”That won’t work,” Lang Cai flatly refused.

”What’s not to work? In the end, you have to pay the money back, sooner or later. We’re not asking you to really hand over the assets to Huaxia right now, it’s still in our hands from beginning to end,” Pan Cong argued.

Lang Cai was momentarily at a loss for words.

He truly didn’t want to part with Myanmar’s national assets, and, more importantly, the change was troublesome, having to beg Huaxia who might not even value it, and the entire process was very bothersome.

”Leader Pan Cong, your point makes sense. Let’s set aside the issue of changing the collateral for a moment. If you were to leak the technology, causing the company a huge loss, how do we account for that?” Ling asked indifferently.

Upon hearing this, Pan Cong thought.

There’s a chance?

Laughing loudly, Pan Cong said, ”Deputy Leader Ling, rest assured, we would never leak such a profitable technology. Are we fools? No matter what, we wouldn’t fight with money.”

”Even the White House in the United States could be infiltrated by foreign spies. Empty words mean nothing. How will you guarantee the technology’s safety, with just your word?” Ling was unabashedly sharp in tone.

The others understood too.

You were touching on someone’s core interests.

And you expect them to smile in return?

Wishful thinking.

”So what’s your solution?” Pan Cong’s voice weakened somewhat.

”If you leak it, given your limited economic capabilities, I won’t make you pay in full for the losses incurred—just half,” Ling said calmly.

”What?”

”On what basis?”

Both Pan Cong and Dsvid spoke up in succession.

”You want to reap the benefits without assuming any risks. Is that possible?” Ling’s voice grew colder.

”You...” Pan Cong angrily began.

He really wanted to say it was possible.

Dsvid asked, ”How much is half?”

”The current monthly output of fruit wine is one and a half million bottles, with a profit of around one hundred million U.S. dollars. International patent conventions last for twenty years, but I’ll just calculate it for ten years—so basically half price.

Considering the projected increase in fruit wine production, we plan to reach three million bottles within three years. I’ll only charge you 30 billion U.S. dollars. That’s not too much, is it?” Ling did the math for them.

WTF?

Everyone who heard this was stunned.

What did they hear?

30 billion U.S. dollars.

Why don’t you go rob a bank instead?
