Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2905: Chapter 2914: Why Did Renee Anderson Come Looking for Baron Lawrence?

On the other side, Baron Lawrence was still unaware that Enna Clark had already learned about her pregnancy from Old Master Lawrence. He had just finished a morning meeting and saw off the representatives of the partnering company before returning to his office.

He was about to take out his phone to message Enna Clark when he heard a knock on the door.

”Knock knock.”

”President Lawrence.”

It was the voice of his special assistant.

Baron Lawrence temporarily put away his phone, sat on his leather swivel chair, his handsome face carrying a regal arrogance, with his hands propping up his chin, his thin lips touched, ”Come in.”

Assistant Terrence twisted the door handle of the President’s office and walked in, not holding any documents. He quickly stepped to the large desk, kept his head low, not daring to look Baron Lawrence in the eyes, and swiftly reported, ”President Lawrence, someone outside claiming to be a director from Celestial Entertainment wants to see you.”

”Since when can people just see me whenever they want? Do I still need to teach you how to handle such trivial matters?” The man furrowed his heroic brows, his eagle-like eyes revealed an expression of impatience.

Assistant Terrence’s heartbeat accelerated with fright, even more afraid to lift his head, stammering as he explained, ”President Lawrence, that Miss Anderson said she knows you, and met with you not long ago, said that you would definitely see her if you heard her name. I thought you knew her. If you don’t, I’ll immediately have security throw her out.”

Miss Anderson...

Baron Lawrence stopped him, ”Wait.”

Assistant Terrence was about to leave, then turned back in confusion, placing his hands nervously in front of him, asking respectfully, ”President Lawrence, do you have any other instructions?”

”What’s her full name?”

Assistant Terrence thought for a moment before answering, ”I think it’s Renee Anderson.”

Renee Anderson! What is she doing here to find him?

Baron Lawrence’s eagle eyes narrowed, his breathtakingly handsome face faintly carried a fierce aura, even the air in the office seemed to slowly solidify...

Assistant Terrence faintly regretted coming in to inquire, seeing President Lawrence’s attitude, it seemed he knew that Miss Anderson, but definitely not in a friendly way.

Baron Lawrence wasn’t someone who liked to waste energy on unimportant people. Since the person came to find him, she must have something to say, he couldn’t be bothered to guess what she was planning, ”Let her in.”

”Uh...” Assistant Terrence was taken aback, quickly bowed and said, ”Yes, President Lawrence.”

”And make me a cup of coffee while you’re at it!”

”Sure, President Lawrence.”

Assistant Terrence paid extra attention.

President Lawrence only instructed him to make one cup of coffee, meaning he didn’t care about that Miss Anderson.

He silently mourned for a few seconds for that Miss Anderson, if she was one of those women wanting to throw themselves at the president, she’s having a tough time, not even getting a glass of water, it’s too pitiful.

Not long after he left, Renee Anderson came in.

Renee Anderson was wearing a simple, patternless blue-grey sweatshirt today. Her very fair skin complemented it. The yellow limited edition LV luxury bag clashed with her outfit, adding a touch of sophistication in her casual style. Overall, Renee’s outfit today was much more casual than her previous OL commuting style, making her look a few years younger. Like a college student fresh out of school.

But she felt different from the college student vibe of Enna Clark.

Enna Clark’s casual style was more relaxed and natural, whereas with her, people always felt something was a bit off.

But no matter how she dressed, in Baron Lawrence’s eyes, a woman other than Enna Clark was just one word—ugly!
