It’s been a while since Aunt passed away, and it’s the first time the family has come over; Cheng Su was a bit surprised.

Mother Cheng made another platter of pumpkin pancakes, and seeing there were guests, Fei Yin took Qi Xiaoqi downstairs to play.

”We didn’t expect to come at a bad time, that is...” Liu Wenjing asked Fei Yin.

”It’s a friend of mine, here in Qing City for a visit.” Cheng Su responded with a smile, ”How have you been these days?”

Because of work, she occasionally saw Deng Weixia at the restaurant, but not often. As for Liu Wenjing, it was the first time she saw her since the funeral.

Perhaps feeling relieved, her complexion looked much better, her face gentle, and a lot of the resentment seemed to have dissipated.

As expected, without the burden of a troublesome mother-in-law, people do live more freely.

”All good. We’ve been thinking about coming over, but Weixia has been busy.” Liu Wenjing said, ”Recently, I’ve taken up some craft work to do at home, and it’s pretty good!”

”Yes, indeed. Sis-in-law, we’ll slowly save up to pay you back.” Deng Weixia also said.

Cheng Su said, ”No rush, you can pay it back when you’re more financially comfortable!”

Liu Wenjing, hearing this, showed a hint of delighted gratitude in her eyes.

Although the mother-in-law was gone, they had benefited a lot from Cheng Su before, and Deng Weixia had always insisted on paying back, so they’ve been quite frugal.

The family of four lived in a small house; without a huge burden, life was manageable. Though frugal, prices are higher nowadays, and the two children are growing, needing nutritional support, which costs money.

Now that Cheng Su said they could pay back over time, it offered them some relief.

Liu Wenjing glanced around the room, noticing a lot of packed items, and couldn’t help but ask, ”What’s all this?”

”We’re planning to move to Guangcheng in a few days, we’re packing up!” Cheng Su said.

”Moving to Guangcheng?” The couple exchanged glances, both feeling very surprised. Why move to Guangcheng, what about the business here?

”Yes. Your cousin is in Zhu City, and he might be transferred to Guangcheng soon. We have a house in Guangcheng, so moving there is also good for family reunion!”

They have a house in Guangcheng! Liu Wenjing listened, feeling quite envious, asked, ”So you won’t be coming back?”

”We’ll be developing in Guangcheng.” Cheng Su took a sip of tea and said, ”As for Qing City, we’ll probably only visit occasionally.”

”But what about the business here in Qing City?” Deng Weixia was a bit worried that Cheng Su might close the restaurant, which would mean he’d have to find a new job.

”The business will still be managed, Joy Soon Loy will continue to operate.” Cheng Su smiled. Joy Soon Loy was her first business venture, and given its scale now, how could she abandon it?

Deng Weixia breathed a sigh of relief.

Liu Wenjing took another look at the packed items, then at the sunlit house, and asked, ”So, sis-in-law, what will you do with this house in Guangcheng?”

Cheng Su looked around too; they’d been living in this house for less than a year, and it was still new and cozy. It was unexpected that they’d leave it so soon.

”We’ll leave it for now. We’ll discuss it when your cousin gets back from Aid Africa; we might rent it out, otherwise it just sits here.” Cheng Su said with a faint smile.

Liu Wenjing’s eyes lit up, feigning surprise, said, ”That would bring in quite a bit of rent, right!”

Cheng Su didn’t catch her expression and said, ”We’ll decide when the time comes. Anyway, Taiguo is not here, we’ll talk when he gets back!”
