I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

”No need to make it an issue; just ensure these things don’t happen again in the future.”

Knock, knock, knock—

At that moment, the office door was knocked.

The secretary stood outside, ”President Tang, Ma Wangxi and Zheng Shasha are here.”

”Invite them in.”

The two stood at the doorway, initially feeling a bit smug internally, but never expected Lin Yi to be sitting on the couch.

The two exchanged glances, their hearts pounding with nervousness, cautiously stepping into the office.

”President, President Tang...”

”You two know exactly what you’ve done, right?”

Ma Wangxi quivered, nervously looking at Lin Yi, noticing that he was playing with his phone, not even looking at them.

”No, we don’t know.”

”If you don’t know, then get out; the group doesn’t need pests like you!”

”President Tang, we’ve always worked diligently, haven’t done anything wrong, why are we being fired?”

”You dare say you haven’t done anything?” Tang Wuqiang slammed the desk:

”Your mother constantly banging pots and pans at home, disturbing nearby residents so they can’t rest, not only didn’t stop but extorted money from people. How do you two justify this?”

”President Tang, don’t listen to his nonsense, my mom isn’t mentally well, we can’t control her.”

”Not mentally well?”

Lin Yi raised an eyebrow at them, ”How about this, I’ll cover the cost to take your mother for a check-up; if there truly is a mental issue, we’ll drop this matter, otherwise we’ll follow President Tang’s lead and fire you both. What do you say?”

”President Tang, don’t listen to his nonsense; this man is a fraud, a trouble-making influencer! I’ll kick him out right now!”

”Nonsense!”

Tang Wuqiang showed anger, ”You really think an influencer can sit in my office?”

Both were terrified, now realizing the seriousness, this man might have other identities, leaving them speechless.

At this point, Lin Yi spoke up:

”You two have only one path, go back and stop your mother, otherwise pack your bags and leave. How you decide is up to you.”
