I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 3348: Chapter 3340: Let’s Settle Old and New Scores Together

”Just stop talking to me about it. Someone will come to discuss this with you specifically.”

Wang Yaqiang looked at Lin Yi with suspicion.

”What do you mean?”

”Don’t worry, you’ll know soon enough.”

Lin Yi walked out, glanced left and right, then waved his hand and said:

”Over here, over here.”

Personnel from the market regulatory department jogged over and politely stood next to Lin Yi.

”You must be Lin Yi?”

”That’s me. Your leaders should have explained the situation, so you know what to do, right?”

”Yes, yes, leave it to us.”

”Good.”

The two staff members composed themselves and walked into the exhibition booth.

Seeing the officials arrive, Wang Yaqiang immediately put on a different expression.

”Leaders, you’re here.”

”Show me your production qualifications and permits.”

”Sure, sure.”

Wang Yaqiang didn’t hesitate and handed over the relevant documents and procedures.

After a careful look with no major issues found, they said:

”Your environmental qualifications aren’t up to par, and the smell from this car film is quite strong. We’re imposing a suspension for business rectification. Come back for the exhibition once you’ve made improvements.”

”What?!”

Wang Yaqiang was dumbfounded.

He never expected such a reason to come up.

”Pack up your things. We’re going to close your booth.”

”But our company isn’t involved in environmental issues.”

”You’re in production and processing, so how could you not be involved in environmental issues?” said the staff member.

”Or are you saying these items were brought in from elsewhere and you falsely claim they are produced by your factory? Either way, we’ll still have to shut you down.”

”But...”

”There’s no ’but’ about it. Get out quickly; we have to seal the booth.”

Seeing the firm attitude of the staff, there was no room for negotiation.

Sun Youtian, standing nearby, was a bit stunned.

Such tactics could only be thought of by Lin Yi.

Faced with the officials, Wang Yaqiang was left with no options.

He could only take out some important items and then pull down the curtain to close the entire booth.

The staff didn’t hesitate, placing a seal on it before leaving after saying a few words.

Lin Yi patted Wang Yaqiang on the shoulder.

”Seriously, you’re selling trashy stuff and still expect me to buy it? This is clearly exploiting someone you know well; live and learn from this.”

Wang Yaqiang’s face looked grim, and he sneered:

”Sun Youtian, you really got me, playing this game with me.”

”This is your problem, not ours,” said Sun Youtian, expressionless:

”Lin Yi, let’s go.”

”Let’s go. It’s almost time for us to get off work anyway.”

The two didn’t browse anymore and prepared to return to Area B.

Lin Yi didn’t ask much about Sun Youtian’s issue.

It wasn’t anything honorable, and he could guess most of it anyway.

”Sorry for the embarrassment.”

”It’s nothing. I got beaten up back in school too; several guys ganged up on me.”

”You don’t seem like the type to take a loss.”

”They were too many; there was nothing I could do,” Lin Yi said:

”But if we talk about a loss, I wouldn’t say so. Even though I got a black and blue face, I always aimed for the leader and ended up getting six stitches.”

”You’re quite ruthless; hitting people like that even when you were in school.”

”If you’re too nice, people take advantage of you,” Lin Yi replied.

”That’s a glorious battle record.”

”I wouldn’t say that. When I got home, my mom spanked me, and I didn’t dare sit on a bench for three days.”

”Haha.”

”But if you want to hit him, I’ll definitely help you.”

”We’re all adults now, so let’s not stir up trouble if we don’t have to. Just focus on work.”

”How is this stirring up trouble? He started it with us first.”

Lin Yi said:

”I can’t stand those pretentious types.”

”Forget it. Their booth is sealed, so we’ve vented our anger. Let’s leave it at that.”

”No problem.”

The two leisurely returned to Area B.

Even though the day’s event was coming to an end, there were still quite a few people.

The two didn’t return to their booth but stood at the Rolls-Royce exhibition area instead.

”This car sure makes a statement; driving it around is way too showy.”

”This car has no value for money,” Lin Yi said:

”If we talk about king of show-offs, that would be Porsche; spend 2 million and it looks like you spent 4 million.”

”That’s true.”

Then, the two wandered around elsewhere before returning to their booth.

By now, people were gradually leaving.

Chen Lin was doing the final tally with the staff.
