Sleepless Hearts

Ohh Serena baby, you don’t know now what is coming for you in just a few seconds.

Just a few more minutes, and this game will be over.

”I am happy that you came”. I stated with a genuine smile cupping her both cheeks as she stood in front of me without a word. I can sense the tiredness in her swollen and puffy red eyes which she tried to mask with her liner and Kohl but was failing miserably.

On my signal, the father started the ceremony, all the while Serena not meeting my eyes for even a second. I was watching her stand there rigid in her posture while, unlike other brides, there was no happiness on her face.

”Do you Daniel Price, take Serena Waldorf as your legally wedded wife?” The father finally questioned me, and Serena for the first time, met my eyes, and the look on her face seeing my evil smile, was enough for me to rejoice now.

Stretching my arms lazily on both sides, I replied arrogantly, ”No”.

I don’t take Serena Waldorf as my wife.
