Days of the Living Darkness

The Waste lands

Tenth hour

With Goru Sein and his crew now gone, the waste lands grew cheerful, every slaver gathered in Sein’s layer, putting the buildings and surrounding areas in order; the bliss could be felt in serene atmosphere as the chirping birds hovered in the clear skies. It seemed as though Heaven came down to touch lives, in the mist of the blissful town, Elroy, bandaged all over his torso sat on a boulder outside the town, beside Jacob, whose face was dressed.

”Look how happy they are.” Jacob spoke with a muffed tone due to the bandage.

”Look how happy WE made them, everyone else would be glad to see this.” Replied Elroy

”They are, Elroy”

”How would you know?”

”That’s because their work in God.....”

”Really Jacob, God?”

”Yes Elroy, God”

”You know what I’ve thought on, I wonder what God did while Aria’s heart was ripped out and Taven screamed out when the black smoke ate his flesh from his bones”

”It doesn’t matter what you say, their vessels were destroyed but their spirits lives on in Paradise”

”I didn’t join the Morning Star because of God Jacob, I joined to see this” points at the town ”happen, God did not do that, we did that at the expense of great lives.”

”Your pain runs deeper than the Ocean itself, God has plans for you.”

”Fuck you Jacob”

”So, what’s your plan now? This people have made us Lords here, we can rule and train them; we can make this land good again, we can leave happily here.”

”There is never true happiness along evil; I have a path to follow.”

”You know what Aria would say? With a smile on her face she would say, don’t revenge me, don’t hold on to dead plans, live your life and live a good one.”

Elroy chuckled then gazed up, ”You sounded just like her” sighs “I’m going with her plans, I’ll find Jerrod Rooks in Lance, then let life set its course.”

”You have no clue how long Aria waited to here you say that.”

”While I’m gone” straightens up ”don’t start a cult”

”What do you take me for El?”

”Most especially, don’t plant your seed in every girl you see.”

”Are you serious right now?”

”I’m not a deep sleeper Jacob; I’m fully aware what transpired last night.”

”You can be a pain Elroy”

”See you soon Jacob” walks away

The Kingdom of Lance

Second District

Twenty-first hour

Unlike the usual, the Black bog was scanty, having not more than fifteen persons in the bar and not more than five persons in the suite.

“What the fuck is this?” a man yelled out from his table then slaps the tub off his table, drawing everyone’s attention towards him. “Where’s the rum boy?” looks up to the boy standing before him.

“I’m…I’m sorry sir, the crowned Prince has revoked the sales of alcohol” the boy spoke carefully

“After a rough day of work a man needs rum to cool his head, not grape plum.”

“I’m sorry sir” the boy apologized with a bow.

Glaring at other people present in the bar the man straightened up, “That’s it? A crowned Prince is now going to delegate how we live, all in the name of an imaginary friend? Is that it? Fools” walks out of the bar mumbling curses.

The man continued on his way towards the bridge speaking swearwords against the Levia household then stops on his track on seeing two rare guards blocking his part. “Are you serious right now? I just left the bar and you guys have heard of my misdeeds already, really?” shakes his head, “go ahead” opens his arms “I’m ready to die”

“Not quit my plan” a lenient female voice spoke from behind the man. Turning backwards the man came to see it was Princess Atari.

“My Lady” the man greeted with his head bowed and his right knee kissing the ground.

“What’s your name?”

“Rashik Lum-at”

“Rise Rashik”

Rashik rose up but kept his head bowed, afraid of what might become of him. For he has heard of what happened to certain persons that wronged the Princess, they either become loyal dogs unable to live without her or they ran mad from the torture they received. “I’m sorry Princess” he pleaded

“It’s alright Rashik; you are displeased with my brother’s current arrangement.”

“I truly apologize”

“No need to, I am very disappointed as well.”

Hearing Princess Atari’s confession Rashik lifted up his head, “I’m glad to hear that.”

“Follow me then” walks pass Rashik leaving a trace of enticing fragrance which made him grin uncontrollably “we have a Prince to dethrone.”

“Yes my lady” Rashik agreed then followed behind Princess Atari
