Chapter 1405: Chapter 1164: Xian Yu Issues a Wide Call for Heroes_3

When the final note of the guzheng faded, Lil Goodoong, who had appeared at some point, spoke:

“The invitations have been sent out, and all parties have confirmed they’ll attend tomorrow’s movie release event. This includes Abigail from Zhong Continent. Also, there will be a significant number of media outlets—some of the lower-tier ones may not even get into the venue since our space is limited.”

“Got it.”

Lin Yuan nodded.

He hadn’t expected things to blow up to this scale; the widespread invitation idea wasn’t even his.

A couple of days ago.

He’d casually mentioned to Ol’ Zhou that he’d perform some new pieces live during the movie release.

“How many?”

“Mostly the movie’s original scores.”

Upon hearing this, Ol’ Zhou immediately acted like it was an emergency: “Why didn’t you say so earlier? We need to change the venue for the release event!”

“To where?”

“The Cultural and Sport Center!”

That’s a place that can hold tens of thousands of people.

On Blue Star, no movie release event had ever drawn tens of thousands of attendees.

Even the largest ones usually only attracted a few thousand people at most.

But Lin Yuan ultimately agreed.

It wasn’t that Lin Yuan cared about putting on a grand show.

It was simply because he felt the music from “Kung Fu Hustle” deserved such a stage.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have taken the time today to specifically rehearse for it.

What’s that?

You don’t remember the music from “Kung Fu Hustle”?

To say nothing else, just one of China’s ten great classical compositions, “Ambush from Ten Sides,” is among the pieces used in the movie’s soundtrack.

…

That evening.

At various major airports in Qin Continent.

Media outlets from all continents began to arrive one after another.

Just as these reporters were heading to their pre-arranged hotels, one reporter suddenly stumbled upon an unexpected surprise!

“Hey!”

“Look over there—who’s that!”

“Mike, the Maestro from Han Continent!?”

“What’s he doing here in Qin Continent?”

“Could it be… Lin Yuan invited him to the movie release event?”

“Probably just a coincidence.”

“Wait!”

“Is that Ping Hu over there?”

“Ping Hu? The top-tier King of Singing from Wei Continent? The guy who brought home a world championship gold medal for Wei Continent?”

“He’s here in Qin Continent too?”

“The airport tonight is getting lively. Rare chance to run into these mega-celebrities—let’s see if we can get an impromptu interview.”

“Holy crap!”

“Another big shot!”

“Water Rhyme, the diva from Qi Continent?”

“She’s the silver medalist for one of the events at the Blue Songlympics, and she’s collaborated with Xian Yu before…”

“Coincidence?”

“Doesn’t seem like one. I remember Mike was on ‘Our Song,’ and so was Xian Yu—they know each other.”

“Oh my god!”

“Is Lin Yuan overdoing it this time? How many big wigs has he invited to boost the movie release event?”

“Is this really necessary?”

“It’s just a movie release event!”

“Could it be, like the netizens are saying, that he’s angry at those Zhong Continent people and this is his way of retaliating…?”

“Why aren’t you saying anything?”

“Take a look to the east—am I hallucinating? That person looks an awful lot like Abigail.”

“Don’t be ridiculous.”

“Out of everyone who’d show up for Lin Yuan, Abigail is the least likely. He holds grudges—he lost to Lin Yuan before, and besides, he has his own stance as a maestro from Zhong…”

The voice abruptly trailed off.

The reporter rubbed his eyes repeatedly. After a long moment, he finally shouted, dumbfounded:

“Damn it! My perspective was way too small—that is clearly Gai! Gai is here in Qin Continent! Why would Gai even be here? Out of all the people, Gai should be the last one to show up in Qin Continent!”

One reporter lost his mind!

All the reporters were going crazy!

The movie release event hadn’t even begun, and the airports across Qin Continent had already turned into today’s most dazzling “Superstar Showcase” on Blue Star.

No, correction.

This was clearly the “Big Boss Showcase.”
