Having An Affair, Hattie's Tear

”Are you sure or I just embarrassing him?” Isaac raised his eyebrows and glanced at the rear-view mirror, calmly avoiding Owen’s overtaking. Hattie was anxious, although it was not the rush hour at this time, and there were no cars on the airport highway, but her heart was beating wildly and she felt depressed. She immediately called Owen.

”Owen, stop chasing. I’m just going back to Jennings for a while. When everything is done, I’ll go back to Tali City.” My phone!”

”She won’t go back, Owen, you should know that.”

”Isaac!” He shouted through his phone.

”What else can you do but take her by force? You said you love her. Is that how you love her by forcing her?”

”I don’t care about you so stop chasing us!”

”Have you ever known how she spent her four years in Tali City? Have you ever understood how Keith spent the past four years without you?” Isaac was so shocked by the hoarse question that he didn’t know how to answer for a moment. There was a sudden thunderstorm, even mixed with lightning and the rain started to pour heavily, and the heart of Isaac also became heavier.

”Isaac, you don’t like me at all! You always love yourself!’ A rumble of thunder roared in the sky, Isaac paled as he heard what she said. Owen took advantage of the gap in Isaac’s car, and his car had caught up and was about to stop Isaac’s car but at that moment a dazzling headlight flashed past and rushed towards his car.

”Owen!”

”Dad!” Two screams sounded at the same time, like two sharp knives stuck in Isaac’s heart. Almost in an instant, he made a decision.

”Sit tight!” With that, his car rushed towards Owen’s car. Isaac gave a curse, then he slammed the steering wheel to the right and the car turned in a strange position, and as long as he could knock off Owen’s car, they would be safe and sound.

”It’s all you, it’s all your fault!” Keith watched helplessly as the car rushed towards Owen’s car. She thought that Isaac was going to kill Owen, she suddenly unfastened her seat belt, jumped into the main driver’s seat. She put her hand around his neck and bit him on the shoulder.

”Keith!” Isaac’s scream echoed sharply on the road, accompanied by the sudden brakes of the car. Owen’s car was knocked away, while Isaac’s car rushed directly out of the road because of its huge recoil force and inertia, and Keith was thrown into the main driver’s seat. The front of the car jammed to the truck and was completely deformed!

”Keith!” Hattie was so scared that she almost lost her breath, she turned madly from the back seat to the front seat.

”Mom! Mom!” Keith was scared, she was crying hoarse, and that mournful cry was tearing her heart apart. Her daughter must be hurt.

”Isaac! Don’t die! Daddy! Daddy! I’m wrong! Dad, don’t die!” Hattie’s heart was beating fast, she looked at Isaac bending in an almost impossible posture and his broad and strong back was like a shield, blocking all the broken glass from the car window. Isaac’s blood ran down in his clothes and his shirt was dyed red.

”Isaac!” Panic was rising from the bottom of her heart, Hattie was frightened to cover his constant flow of blood. She wanted to cover it, but no matter how she covered it there was blood oozing from her fingers. She couldn’t stop it! Owen got out of the car and had some bruises on his arm, but it was not a big deal. He saw everything in front of him, he did not understand Isaac’s mind, why would he do that?

”Isaac, are you out of your fucking mind? Do you want them to die?” Owen was going crazy to get Isaac out of the driver’s seat.

”Don’t touch him!” Hattie shouted sadly, ”Call 911, call 911!”

”It will be all right, Isaac! You’ll be all right!” ’Calm down! Calm down! You’re a doctor! You can save Isaac! You can save him!’ Hattie said to herself. Hattie’s hands were trembling, she slapped Isaac to keep him awake, bit his pale lips. She controlled her emotion and calm down as she trying to save him.

”Isaac, this is Hattie! You can’t sleep! Do you hear me? You can’t sleep!” As soon as Isaac’s clenched hand loosened, the ring in his palm slipped off. Hattie ran her eyes and saw that it was a ring, her wedding ring.
