Wolf who loved me

I was lying on the couch waiting for her to come out but to my surprise her sobbing stopped and her breathing was uniform. I didn’t have to double check she was asleep. Maybe she was tired from all the crying. I grabbed her cell phone so it could be tapped but I took the risk anyway. I dialed my beta’s number and he took my phone on the first ring that itself showed how worried they all could be. ”Just listen, don’t say anything right now. I’m fine but I was attacked last night. I narrowly escaped an attempt to kill me. There could be any informer amongst us. Make sure everyone is safe. Just text me whatever you want to say to me”. I cut my call and waited for his message. I’m an alpha and an attack on me means an attack on the Northern tribe and we are the strongest tribe. A war could be waged for less.

I’m glad you’re safe but things are very bad here. We saw your car. It was in bad shape. Everyone is thinking that you are either kidnapped or dead. Well everyone except Greta for her you are the Lord Zeus himself. They are thinking about war. Both Seb and Li are working on the strategy; they don’t know which tribe is behind it so we are planning an attack on all of them starting with our neighbors. Come home soon if you can.

I knew my time with her was over just like that she is sleeping right now but it’s nearly afternoon. I was planning to go tonight but I should go just now or be ready to carry on a war which may last a few years more or less. My people have just started to enjoy peace and calm just now I may ruin it. I quickly typed a short reply to him and it said I’m coming. I slowly opened the door and she was still sleeping. I placed her phone near her. I was only turning away and suddenly she opened her eyes. Shit what was I thinking? She got up from the bed and rubbed her eyes. ”What time is it”?, she asked. I just looked at her not giving her answer. I was worried about my pack hope my beta hold them up. She rolled her eyes and said, ”I didn’t give you permission to enter my room or kiss me”, her voice very small. ”You kissed me back ”, I replied. ”Get out”, she said. I slowly walked out. I put on a good show but I was worried I looked out of the window. I missed my opportunity. I should have left as early as possible. I should have tied her up if she was going to rat me. The unwelcome thoughts started pouring down.

”You ok? She asked. I shook my head and said, ”I’m bored. How do you pass time in this hell hole? You don’t have tv”, I told her lightly. ”Don’t tell me you are a TV watching type. I know you enough by now.I have mobile and Netflix I will survive”, she replied. I wanted to laugh at her response but I didn’t. The unwelcome thoughts of my people attacking neighbors innocent or not raided my mind. I quickly pushed it away. ”Where’s my phone? I swear it was in my bedroom.” I gave it to her; I had earlier confiscated it from her. ”Why do you touch other people’s stuff without asking them first ”, she said. ”You are not other people to me”, I said truthfully. She ignored her. ”I can’t believe I kissed a guy who pulled a gun on me”, she whispered. It was very low, not meant to be heard by me.

”I’m sure it’s a beauty and beast type of situation”, I said laughingly. She shook her head unbelievably which was proof of her humanity. ”That was before when I thought you tried to kill me”, I lied. The truth is that I haven’t believed her yet. But if she knew that then I would be in danger again instead I have lulled her into believing me. She arched her eyebrows at me. Maybe I’m a danger to myself more than she is. Since I’m staying here longer. She sat near me holding up her old phone. Let us watch a movie if you want. I nodded my head and went to sit by her. I saw teen wolf in her search which was comical. ”You want to watch teen Wolf?’’ she asked, her eyes hopeful. ”I thought we were here to escape reality because it was the worst show I had seen. You don’t become a wolf by simply getting a bite. It’s not rabies for hell’s sake”, I said. ”How do you know this much about the show then?”, she asked. ”My mom is a fan”, I confessed. After a little back and forth we settled on kissing booth on my insistence she relented. I was excited about the part about sitting close to her. She was watching the movie and I was watching her. I know she might have caught me a few times but didn’t say anything.
