The Useless Miracle Doctor Consort Is Spoiled Rotten by the Prince!

Chapter 1433: Chapter 1428: Boo hoo, don’t be fierce with me

Although she had never seen what the other assassins from Silver Moon Pavilion looked like, the one named Chaser by Xiao Yu’s side… Killing in a blink, taking lives imperceptibly, was truly terrifying!

During the days Chaser was monitoring her and her servant, she hadn’t been able to sleep at all, for every time she closed her eyes, she saw herself already lying dead.

After some consideration, Mu Qianya realized it indeed wouldn’t be easy; Xiao Yu must have put a lot of effort into getting someone like Chaser and wouldn’t let him be easily persuaded to switch sides.

But she intended to make a deal with Xiao Yu and wasn’t going to leave him anytime soon.

So she had some time to think about how to get a highly skilled guard to protect herself, ensuring her future position as the head of the Mu Family.

She knew well that the same troubles Xiao Yu encountered could happen to her too.

Moreover, this wasn’t the first time she had narrowly escaped death.

However, her stubborn father, who taught her to read and manage account books, never allowed her to learn martial arts, saying a woman without talents was virtuous and knowing too much could disrupt the entire family.

She didn’t believe it and was determined to fight for the head of the family position, which was supposedly reserved for men only!

During the days Su Miaoyan was healing, she just slept and ate, ate and slept. Besides the daily acupuncture and massage from Mu Qianya, Xiao Yu had also specifically arranged for a female doctor to prepare medicinal baths for her, providing daily comfort.

The bath was ready, and Su Miaoyan walked reluctantly to its edge, grimacing at the dark medicinal broth, unwilling to get in.

“Yan’er, be good. Soaking in the medicinal bath will nourish your body. Your injuries were severe.”

Xiao Yu reminded her gently from behind.

Even though the world said he had become a bloodthirsty and ruthless man, he always showed his gentlest side to Su Miaoyan.

Su Miaoyan detested him and turned around, pouting and complaining, “You go out, out, out! I want to wash by myself, don’t want you watching me wash or washing with you!”

Having recuperated these past days, her cheeks had plumped up, steam enveloped her, and a blush rose to her soft, inviting skin, resembling tender marshmallows.

Xiao Yu’s eyes, cold and deep, stared at her, “Yan’er, soak obediently.”

“I don’t want to!”

Su Miaoyan pouted, showing her stubbornness.

Yet, her persistence only resulted in the bathwater cooling down, and Xiao Yu had to order fresh medicinal water added. Su Miaoyan held out and held out until she grew sleepy.

She huffed, turned her back, stripped, and finally soaked into the bath.

As she bathed, she muttered softly, “Big villain! Big villain! I’ll run away!”

Someday, she would manage to escape and not get caught again!

But if she did run, where could she go?

Soaking in the water, Su Miaoyan started to contemplate this question; she couldn’t remember anything, only recognizing this big villain, the people around him, and Sister Mu, this Jiang Du City…

That’s right, hadn’t Sister Mu said Jiang Du was her hometown?

There must be family members of hers in Jiang Du City, right?

But how could she find her family?

Once again, Su Miaoyan was perplexed by too many thoughts, which started giving her a headache, and she cried out in pain, “Oww, it hurts so much…”

“Yan’er!”

Xiao Yu quickly stepped forward, pulling her out of the bath, saw her little face scrunched up, and asked in a low voice, “Do you have a headache? What are you thinking about? Don’t think anymore!”

The female doctor had said that Su Miaoyan’s amnesia was due to the accumulation of blood clots in her brain, that her memory would recover, but her headaches would also get progressively worse.

“Woo, woo… terrible…”

Su Miaoyan’s eyes reddened, brimming with tears, her voice as soft and thin as gossamer, stirring one’s heartstrings.

Xiao Yu fetched her clothes, “You’ve soaked enough, get up now.”

“Woo, woo, I don’t want to.”

Su Miaoyan just didn’t want to listen to him. The more he tried to control her, the more she detested him, and so she kept struggling.

But Xiao Yu was stronger than her, and with a bit of force, he lifted her out, dressed her in her nightgown, and carried her to the bed.
