The Useless Miracle Doctor Consort Is Spoiled Rotten by the Prince!

Chapter 974: Chapter 972 Out of the Mouths of Babes

Guests’ congratulatory voices were incessant, and Su Qingzhi couldn’t help but smile broadly. The Su family was exceptionally busy hosting the guests, and even Su Miaoyan was grabbed by Madam Yin to attend to a few young ladies at the women’s seating area.

With no choice but to interact, Su Miaoyan smiled and chatted with them. She had been uninterested at first, but their brothers, not much younger than them, were egging her on, “Miaoyan, when the bride enters, you must lead us to tease the bridal chamber, okay?”

“Yeah, yeah! I heard your sister-in-law is very beautiful! I want to see if she’s prettier than my sister-in-law!”

A little boy with skin as white as milk, his eyes shining, said excitedly.

His skin was so smooth, softer even than a girl’s. Su Miaoyan couldn’t resist and reached out to pinch his cheek, placing her hands authoritatively on her hips, “Alright! I’ll definitely take you all to tease the bridal chamber later! Just make sure to keep up, don’t fall behind!”

Boastfully, she revved up all the young girls and boys, who cheered and clapped their hands.

Little did she know, her words had reached the ears of Xiao Yu, who had just come looking for her.

Xiao Yu, with a folding fan in hand, spoke in a voice as cold as an immortal, “Su Miaoyan, is this how I’ve taught you on ordinary days, to do what? To lead them to tease the bridal chamber?”

“Ah! Brother Yu!”

Su Miaoyan turned in a flurry, her small hands nervously clutching the hem of her dress, “You… how did you come here!”

Xiao Si snickered, “The young general is getting married, so of course, our young master must come to offer his congratulations. Miss Miaoyan, you’ve been caught red-handed by my young master, haven’t you?”

He had a look of relishing her misfortune, while Su Miaoyan—mischievous by nature—given that Xiao Yu doted on her, had often drawn turtles on his face in Qilin Garden. Now, she could finally get her own back.

Su Miaoyan’s little face turned red, her hands clutching her dress beginning to sweat.

Xiao Yu was usually very kind to her, but when he wasn’t smiling, he exuded a certain pressure that made her… very nervous!

And yet, she had no idea what she was nervous about.

Xiao Yu saw her face turning red and pressed her forehead with his finger, “Scared? Do you know what happens in the bridal chamber? And yet you want to lead these kids there to make trouble.”

In Xiao Yu’s eyes, there was an undeniable doting.

This young girl was such a rascal!

Su Miaoyan pouted, wanting to say that the bridal chamber is where a man and a woman do what husband and wife should do on the bed, right?

How could she not know that?

One day when she married, she’d have to do those things with her husband too!

She understood it long ago!

But she dared not say this to Xiao Yu, fearing he would punish her to copy books again.

However, the little rascal behind her, whose cheek she’d just pinched, didn’t have a clue. He strutted up to her, looked up at Xiao Yu, and said, “Who are you to hit Sister Miaoyan! Sister Miaoyan is going to be my wife in the future. If you bully her again, I won’t let you off!”

Su Miaoyan’s heart skipped a beat. Indeed, during their joking earlier, she had agreed to be this little brother’s wife.

But he was four years younger than her!

Just a boy of about ten, she had been kidding, and she hadn’t expected…

That he would actually say that in front of Xiao Yu!

Now she suddenly wanted to see Xiao Yu’s reaction.

And his reaction was unmissable.

Xiao Yu’s expression was very cold!

Su Miaoyan’s legs trembled, and she instinctively pulled the little brother behind her, chuckling nervously, “Brother Yu, he’s still young, and kids say the darndest things, don’t mind him!”
