Ms. Doctor Divine

Chapter 160: Reclaiming the Stores

“The apple tastes so sweet and crispy!” Qing said excitedly.

She took a few more bites from the apple and seemed to enjoy the fruit deeply.

Gu Chaoyan took one apple and ate it too.

She found that, just as Qing had said, the apple did taste sweeter and crispier than the ordinary apples.

Soon, a new plan popped up in Chaoyan’s head. She was going to plant some grapes for brewing. When her restaurant was opened, she was going to make full use of the grape-brewed wine as the top brand.

With that idea in mind, Gu Chaoyan became quite happy. “Alright, let’s go and eat.”

Qing took one more apple and threw a curious look at her Miss. She had no idea what made her Miss happy. However, what Qing was thinking was that as long as her Miss was happy, all would be fine.

After the dinner Gu Chaoyan went to take a bath, after which she fell asleep directly.

The following day Sword One joined Fu Bao with the contracts of the stores given by Gu Chaoyan early in the morning. Fu Bao had all the guards and managers arranged by Zhou Huaijin with him.

Seeing Sword One there, Fu Bao got extremely motivated. He was completely ready to get the job done.

“Lady Chaoyan is not coming, is she?” Fu Bao asked.

“Just leave this small matter to us. Let’s go now. I have got the contracts with me.” Sword One said straightforwardly.

Fu Bao nodded.

The two of them walked towards the stores with their men.

The stores were located next to each other. Apart from the garment store, there were stores that sold groceries and calligraphy and painting tools.

When the incident happened at the garment store, the rest of the managers were watching the whole show clearly.

They also knew about Gu Lin getting tied up to face the court.

When they had no idea what to do, Mrs. Gu’s men came and told them to cooperate with Chaoyan. Mrs. Gu’s men said that the managers should give Chaoyan whatever she needed to see. Those managers got quite assured. As long as they could work cooperatively, they were definitely going to avoid ending up like Gu Lin. They did not care who owned the stores, as long as they were still the managers.

Seeing Sword One coming to his store, the manager of the grocery store was about to flatter her.

When Sword One brought out the contracts. “This is our Miss’s store.”

“I do... the accounts are ready.” The manager said as he turned around, trying to get them.

“Okay, get your stuff and leave now.” Sword One said coldly.

What? The manager ceased his steps.

“What do you mean?”

“Our Miss owns the stores, and now she is getting them all back. Pack up and leave.” Sword One repeated her words patiently.

“You... don’t talk nonsense! I have been running the store for years!” The manager showed his true color as he pointed at Sword One impolitely. If not for Mrs. Gu who stressed that they should show some courtesy, he would not have behaved so politely at all! How dare they!

Instead of saying anything more, Sword One shouted. “Fu Bao!”

“Get them out!” Fu Bao did not have the patience.

The next second, the manager and the salesboy were all tossed out of the stores.

As for the rest of the stores, Sword One said nothing. She just asked Fu Bao to throw the staff out.

At last, a group of managers got so angry that they said with teeth clenched. “Let’s go to Mrs. Gu! They are just bullying us! We need justice!
