Our Dirty Little Secret

Sitting in the glamorous Bugatti Centodieci, Elly shyly asked. ”President Hargreaves, it is said that employees must be there at 8 o’clock in the morning. It is just 6 o’clock, you are so cruel to wake up your employees like that!”

”It is your duty to complete all the tasks remarkably and take care of the unavoidable actions of superiors.” Alex didn’t care about those troll words of Elly; he then drove his way out of the building.

”For example?”

”Breakfast. I haven’t had breakfast.” He resented her foolishness, his voice got cold.

”Coincidentally, neither did I.” Scolded as a lazy and foolish, Elly was very upset.

Alex stopped at a bakery. He threw the wallet. Elly caught it. He commanded. ”Hurry up and buy some cakes. They are already waiting.”

Elly said nothing and left the car. 5 minutes later, she came back with two boxes of cake. She didn’t realize Alex looked at her with his loving eyes while she paid attention to those sweets.”

In his memory about Madeline, she loved this bakery. Alex believed that habits and tastes are the things that never change in a person.

”I do not like this cake.” Alex gave Elly his box. Elly pouted to accept the cake, in a cunning laugh. These two cakes she chose was according to her preferences. Making him starve was Elly’s plan for waking her up so early.

Alex drove straight to the campsite, did not return to the company and be gathered with everyone. Anyway, he did not come to pick her up to let her sit with others on a common bus.

There were many gazes on Elly as she got off from Alex’s car. She cried silently, thinking that she could never explain this.

The car was parked in the suburbs with beautiful scenery and fresh air. After everyone decided on a picnic spot, they went fishing and sightseeing.

As soon as they arrived, Elly immediately threw away her bad-tempered boss, and she mixed up with everyone. She still has not forgotten her promise to Emily which is to stay away from Alex.

She was very enthusiastic to help colleagues who were preparing for the picnic. People also gradually opened their hearts to Elly.

Seeing her integrate very quickly, Alex tried to hold back his mouth that wanted to raise it into a smile, and continued to be noble, indifferently sitting on the large rock in the distance.

”Elly, can you take me some woods? I think we do not have enough.” Her colleague - Adela asked Elly.

”Yeah, of course.” Elly answered happily. Adela was the nicest one to Elly in the company.

Another colleague smiled and asked Adela. ”Group A has just taken a lot of woods. How much wood do you need?”

Adela’s evil eyes appeared and laughed. ”Such a big forest, she will come in, but will never come out.”

At the same time, Elly was trying hard to collect as much wood as possible, not thinking about her colleague was cursing her behind the back. Unfortunately, the curse came true.

When she collected enough of them, Elly tried to figure a way out. However, there was nothing. Everything was green, there were trees and lots of trees. She could not find her way back. After a while, Elly accepted the truth.

She... was lost.
