”Mm? You two managed to finish the level 99 special training room, right?” Javier smiled.

”Yes.”

”That guy finished special level 3. You both know how hard it is to pass after level 99, right?~ Special level 1, special level 2, and special level 3, up to max level 10.”

Javier chuckled. ”He soloed everything, while you two were a duo, just like Mimi and Delya, right?” Javier glanced at Mimi and Delya. ”But you two only made it to level 70, right?”

”Nya! It’s because Erinnette was too strict!” Mimi and Delya puffed their cheeks.

Felicia just tilted her head, wondering what they were talking about.

”Besides, he’s just following Alf’s orders. You know how strict Alf and Erinnette are with their children.” Javier chuckled. ”So spare him. He’s not that bad, he just doesn’t want to deal with his father’s lecture if he slips up.”

Liana exhaled softly while Gloria adjusted her glasses.

”Since you put it that way, we don’t have much choice but to... let it go for now.”

”Let’s go and eat our breakfast first,” Javier said, smiling at everyone.

”Nya! I want meat!” Mimi grinned, her tail swaying happily behind her.

”But didn’t you eat before on the ship, Mimi?” Delya asked.

”Nya? But it wasn’t enough! I need more! I’m still growing!”

”You’re already 16, Mimi!” Felicia hissed.

”Nya? Yeah, but I’m still growing! Unlike all of you! So unfair!” Mimi narrowed her eyes, puckering her lips in a cute sulk as she glanced pointedly at Gloria’s, Liana’s, and Felicia’s chests. ”You all got the good stuff already!”

Javier chuckled softly and smiled, happy to see all his future wives bickering playfully.

He walked ahead, and the others noticed, quickly falling into step behind him.

While walking, Liana, who was walking slowly beside Javier, glanced up at him.

”But how do you know about that stuff, young master?”

”Hmm? What stuff?” Javier glanced at Liana.

”The thing you mentioned about the special level training. How do you know Varrick was able to pass special level 3? Even we, as personal maids, didn’t know about that.” Gloria asked, walking on his left.

”Ah... that stuff, huh?” Javier rubbed his chin and glanced at them with a smirk. ”Well... a future ruler’s role is to know everything about those who will serve him later, right?”

”What do you mean?” Liana asked.

”Hmm? Just like Father, Alf and Erinnette serve him, right? Along with Hesbeirn and the others~” Javier said, walking with both hands behind his head. ”It’s the same for me, or Marcellus, or Cedric~ Father assigns us personnel who are perfectly suited to our needs and potential roles.”

Liana tilted her head. ”But aren’t Gloria and I already serving you as personal maids?”

”Hmm? No... you both are becoming my future wives. There’s no way a future wife would serve her husband like staff does. That’s why Father arranged Varrick and others to handle the official duties and protocol, so you two can focus on your roles as my partners, not my attendants.”

Javier smiled and glanced at all of his girls.

”Besides, have you all ever seen my mother or my stepmothers doing all the paperwork and other things? Except when they volunteer, or when they’re bored, or when they want to spend time with their husband? Hmm?”

Liana and Gloria shook their heads, while Mimi and Delya looked at each other.

Felicia looked at Javier’s back and tilted her head.

What are they all talking about with this special training? Why was I never part of it?

Do they... not trust me enough? Or did they leave me out on purpose?

Javier glanced over his shoulder and stopped walking when he noticed Felicia had suddenly stopped.

”Felicia?”

”Mmm?” Felicia looked up and smiled faintly. ”Yes, husband?”

”What’s wrong? You suddenly went quiet.”

”Mmhmm~ Nothing, husband... n... nothing...” Felicia forced a smile, but her tail drooped slightly, a clear sign of her inner turmoil.

Javier smiled and walked toward her, closing the distance between them. ”Is it because I mentioned the special training? Do you think I left you out?” Javier whispered slowly into her ear. ”Don’t worry... no one is being left behind.”

”R... really?” Felicia looked up at Javier, her eyes shimmering with relief.
