Liana and Gloria stood as bridesmaids just behind Queen Mylezra, with Lithia and Harny forming a second row of honor. Mylezra’s hand rested lightly on Francesca’s arm as they began their slow, graceful walk toward the altar where Garius stood waiting in front of the Elven High Priest.

Alf stood a respectful distance to the side, his posture perfect, watching over everything.

Gentle, flowing elven wedding music filled the air. Mylezra wore an elegant elven wedding gown, a delicate veil covering her face, yet her barely-contained joy was palpable with every step.

”Don’t get too excited now, Mylezra,” Francesca said softly, a warm smile in her voice.

”Mm... I know.”

”Just a little longer. Hold it together for now.”

”Mou! I know...” Mylezra whispered back, her voice trembling with emotion even as she maintained her regal pace toward the altar.

While Liana and Gloria followed slowly behind with Lithia and Harny, Liana’s eyes subtly scanned the assembled guests.

Where is the young master?

I told him to stay with Prince Marcellus and Prince Cedric. But at their table, I only saw his brothers.

Don’t tell me he’s causing another trouble... again.

Once Queen Mylezra reaches the altar and the ceremony begins, I’ll slip away and find him.

Francesca arrived at the altar with Mylezra. She smiled, transferring Mylezra’s hand to Garius’s with slow, deliberate grace.

”Dear~ Your future bride is here. Cherish her just as you cherish all of us.”

”Mm... I will, honey.” Garius extended his arm, and Mylezra placed her hand in his with elegant poise.

Francesca smiled, reaching up to adjust Garius’s collar one last time.

”Now, now... go to the altar. Let the priest bless this wonderful beginning.”

”Thank you, Francesca,” Garius said softly.

Mylezra’s eyes shimmered, tears threatening to fall, but Francesca gently soothed her. ”Don’t cry yet, Mylezra. You are a Queen of Elves.”

”Mou!” Mylezra whispered, a soft sob caught in her throat as Francesca gently wiped a stray tear away with her thumb.

”Now, both of you... let’s get this beautiful day over with.”

Francesca turned and looked at Mylezra again.

”You better go now. Knowing my husband here, he’ll find some small matter as an excuse to postpone this wedding again.”

”Mou! Don’t say that, Francesca. I’m not going to let this man postpone it again. I’ve been waiting for so long, and he kept putting it off.”

Garius exhaled and shook his head. ”There’s no way I can postpone it again when we’ve already come this far.”

Francesca let out a soft laugh and glared playfully at Garius. ”No, dear~ I know you were about to postpone this wedding when our youngest detected something, but luckily I told Alf to make sure it would proceed as planned no matter what happened. That’s why they were sent around to ensure protection is at its highest around the Armand estate.”

Mylezra’s eyes widened. ”Really?” She turned and glared at Garius, gritting her teeth.

Garius let out a soft guilty laugh. ”Alright, alright... I admit I was nearly...”

But before he could finish, Mylezra pulled him firmly by the arm to face the Elven priest. She looked the priest straight in the eye and declared, ”Skip everything. Go straight to the blessing. Now.”

Francesca let out a soft, elegant laugh and stepped toward the front row, seating herself gracefully. She shook her head, amused, as she watched Mylezra continue to glare at Garius even as the Elven High Priest began the sacred vows.

”Do you, Mylezra, Queen of the Elven Nation, take this man...” the priest started, but Mylezra cut him off.

”I do.” Mylezra cut in, her eyes still fixed on Garius as if daring him to disagree.

The priest cleared his throat gently. ”And do you, Garius de Armand...”

Before he could finish, Mylezra nudged Garius’s arm sharply.

”I... I do,” Garius said, the words carrying a mix of resignation and deep affection.

The priest gave an awkward, soft laugh and announced.

”Then, before the gathered witnesses and the ancient spirits of wood and stream, I declare your vows heard and sealed. You are now bound in sight of the Elders. You may exchange the rings of promise.”

Mylezra took the ring that Gloria rushed forward to offer and immediately pulled up Garius’s left hand. She slid the band firmly onto his ring finger.

With the ring of promise sealed in place, Mylezra raised her own left hand insistently, eyes wide, biting her lower lip hard in a mix of excitement and impatience.
