Maximum Comprehension: Taking Care of Swords In A Sword Pavilion

Han Muye retracted all his divine flames, among which a thousand had now acquired sentience.

Huang Zhihu and his companions were cleaning up the battlefield, gathering weapons from the Azure Heaven Plane—which, although not precious here, were strong treasures of origin power when brought to the Lower Plane.

The other powerful factions also took this chance to gather treasures while replenishing their own origin power.

By this time, the number of cultivators who had entered the Heaven-Opening Sword Gate had reached over a million.

This opportunity was unimaginable for them.

“The Heaven-Opening Gate can hold for three more days; after three days, it will close, and it will not open again for at least a thousand years,” Han Muye said, looking around with a calm expression.

He grasped the memories within the altar well, clear about the timings of the gate’s opening and other details.

“For those Dao friends who wish to stay in the Azure Heaven Plane, take this opportunity to gather materials and then refine your treasures,” he advised.

“As for those who wish to return to the Lower Plane, collect more resources and stabilize your origin power.”

Without refining the treasures in hand, clashing with the experts of this plane could put one at a disadvantage.

Refining the treasures, even if unfamiliar with the combat of this plane, relying on sufficient cultivation and the treasures in hand, self-preservation was more than sufficient.

After all, these experts, even in this plane, counted as masters.

After three days, there had only been three battles.

Han Muye and Huang Zhihu’s sword array basically secured these battles.

After three days, more than a hundred thousand strong cultivators quietly left, stepping into this Plane, while the others followed Han Muye back to the Lower Plane.

The Heaven-Opening Sword Gate would open again after more than a thousand years.

After stepping into this Plane, the next time they came, they would be fully prepared.

This time, their gains had already been immensely vast.

When they returned through the Heaven-Opening Sword Gate, everyone’s face was etched with endless emotion.

At this moment, their Origin was nearly perfect, their cultivation abilities stable.

In the Azure Heaven Plane, they felt nothing unusual, but upon returning to the Lower Plane, they immediately felt the difference.

It was a transcendence that towered above all living beings.

The most significant aspect was detachment.

“The power of the calamity will no longer affect us…” a white-bearded elder murmured softly, excitement apparent on his face.

Wasn’t the desire to go to the Azure Heaven Plane because the Lower Plane would see the calamity afflict these strong cultivators, eventually leading to their demise?

Now with stable Origin, unaffected by the calamity, wouldn’t it be the same in any Plane?

Han Muye’s gaze fell downward.

Now, the altar below was dimming.

“Hum—”

As Han Muye took the final step, there was a thunderous roar between heaven and earth, and the vast portal slowly closed and then dissipated.

The gate that separated the two Planes disappeared.

The column of light reaching to heaven also dissipated.

The next opening would be at least a thousand years later.

All the cultivators returning from the Azure Heaven Plane looked at the disappearing portal with a dazed expression.

The divine beasts and strong cultivators engraved on those pillars all looked up at Han Muye.

Han Muye raised his hand, and a rumbling sound arose between heaven and earth.

Layer upon layer of divine light surged like waves, directly enveloping the altar below.

In the millions of miles of land, the divine patterns on the altar lit up once again.

But this time, these divine patterns were not extracting the power of the strong cultivators secured to the pillars; they were nourishing them.

Streams of Origin Force nourished them.

Simultaneously, the millions of miles around the altar began to collapse.

It was not so much a collapse as a disintegration.

Disintegrating into countless small pieces, similar to the Myriad Domains Battleground.

The chains on those pillars also shattered inch by inch.

“Esteemed seniors have guarded the Azure Heaven Altar for so many years; it’s time for you to rest.”

“Now that the altar has disintegrated, let’s regroup after a thousand years.”

“Han promises here that after a thousand years, when the Heaven-Opening Sword Gate reopens, anyone wishing to step into the Azure Heaven Plane will be escorted through the gate by Han.”
