Global Abyss: My Skills Can Enhance Infinitely

Chapter 1893: Chapter 1039: The Rise of Reputation (Part 4)

The rational Ravenclaw didn’t quite fit their persona.

”Gryffindor!”

Before the Sorting Hat had completely fallen, it felt that reckless spirit rushing towards it.

There’s nothing more quintessentially Gryffindor than this.

And the Gryffindor students on this side erupted in excited cheers, while the other houses, including Slytherin, at least for Tao Yu, gave congratulatory applause...

The following sorting ceremony was somewhat proper, and the wizarding world’s grand feast gave Tao Yu a distinctive flavor that the house-elves’ cooking skills truly left no words.

Just after the banquet, when the house prefects were ready to lead the young wizards back, Tao Yu had a little more work.

A reporter from the Prophet Daily came over for an interview.

After all, it involved the whole train of young wizards and almost all magic families in the United Kingdom, which was quite a significant event.

Hogwarts also needed to utilize the Prophet Daily’s channels to reassure everyone; the reporter was officially sent, not like Rita Skeeter, who uses extravagant means to exaggerate as a self-media figure.

”Oh, I want to take a picture with my friends. Is that okay?”

Tao Yu said to the reporter and cameraman ahead.

”Of course, dear, you’re a hero who saved your classmates. Our magic world needs heroes, especially when one of them is the famous Harry Potter. You both are.”

Tao Yu’s previous rescue action made him not only well-regarded among students but also held a prestigious status throughout the Causal Wizarding World, so a small request was naturally fine.

So Ron, and Scabbers, who lay reluctantly on Ron’s shoulder, were brought into the shot too.

Ron was quite thrilled and even grateful about appearing on the newspaper for the first time.

When returning to the dormitory after the group photo, he was still chattering on and on.

”Oh, I’m on the newspaper, my parents will be proud of me. Thank you, Tao Yu, I didn’t really help much.”

”Me too, I almost passed out.”

Harry was a bit bothered by his own vulnerability.

”It’s nothing; we’re a team, aren’t we?”

Tao Yu smiled; now the image of ’genius’ and ’helpful’ was starting to establish itself. Slowly, desensitization work was beginning. Using magic surpassing the typical levels of young wizards was gradually becoming more justified...

A glance at Scabbers on Ron’s shoulder showed that the lazy mouse had just eaten and was lounging on Ron’s shoulder, yet to grasp the seriousness of the situation.

However, Tao Yu confirmed that Voldemort hadn’t returned to the back of Quirinus Quirrell’s head, but was likely still lurking somewhere in Hogwarts.

In the form of some eerie item.

”Right now at Hogwarts, there’s the diadem of Rowena Ravenclaw, this soul device, and now the oddly-shaped Voldemort might consider reclaiming his soul fragments...”

Previously, Voldemort was fixated on recovering his physical body, but now, after merging with the strange, whether he still has this idea is uncertain.

At the very least, he now shows no interest in the back of Quirrell’s head.

Now it’s even difficult to say if it’s Voldemort anymore or some oddity with Voldemort’s memory...
