Global Abyss: My Skills Can Enhance Infinitely

Chapter 1885: Chapter 1037: The Name of Genius (Part 4)

Harry was organizing the items he needed for the start of school, filling up an entire shopping cart.

Tao Yu was about the same, except Tao Yu casually cast a Floating Spell, and the items followed behind him with a series of clatters, making Harry quite envious.

”Oh my gosh, compared to you, I’m really dumb. I haven’t played Delta at all this month, but I’ve barely managed to master a few basic spells, and they’re only sometimes effective, sigh.”

This month, at Li Hen Bookstore, Tao Yu had practically devoured the entire store.

Although there were only some ordinary books here, they still provided a comprehensive foundational system.

Tao Yu’s Decomposition Ability, combined with naturally adapting to this world’s Rules, meant that common spells were at his fingertips.

It’s safe to say that Hogwarts’ standard courses from first to seventh year held nothing for him anymore, leaving only the Forbidden Book Area and the professors’ signature skills.

For now, it wasn’t good to stand out too much, so on a daily basis, he just maintained the persona of a top genius, slowly revealing his talents bit by bit, which was normal.

This desensitization by Tao Yu indeed had a not-so-light impact on Harry. If it weren’t for Tao Yu’s constant urging in lieu of the money he borrowed, Harry would probably have just laid around playing Delta on his phone all month.

Actually, Harry’s talent was quite good, achieving quite a lot in subjects that interest him, but he tended to be lazy and rebellious, always cramming at the last minute.

In terms of practical spell-level experience, Harry even surpassed Hermione, the academic overachiever.

And Tao Yu, being an experienced psychological doctor, handled the mindset of this young boy with ease, casually making Harry study diligently for a month.

He helped this young wizard, who had never been exposed to magic before, quickly surpass many young wizards who came from wizarding families in terms of basics.

”That’s why we need to work even harder. We’re both from the Muggle World. Just think, other young wizards have been living in wizarding families since childhood and have studied for many more years than us. You don’t want to be at the bottom, do you?”

Tao Yu’s words made Harry feel a sense of urgency.

Now, Tao Yu was practically his only friend, and his performance in every aspect could be described as perfect; he cherished this friendship dearly.

If his friend is so outstanding, and he didn’t make an effort to catch up and improve himself, there might not be any common ground left in the future.

”I know, wait for me.”

Tao Yu controlled the boxes to follow him, and as they were about to leave the Broken Cauldron Bar, he cast an Illusion Charm, causing the boxes to ’vanish into thin air.’

This skillful trick drew exclamations from quite a few customers in the bar.

”An Illusion Charm?”

”What a talented little wizard; I haven’t even mastered that spell.”

”That’s Tao Yu, the temp at Li Hen Bookstore. Mr. Olivander said he’s a natural-born wizard with exceptional talent.”

”Clearly, at such a young age, imagine what he’ll achieve when he grows up...”

”...”

Tao Yu’s presence even completely overshadowed Harry Potter’s fame. This month, aside from the initial enthusiasm, the bar’s patrons mainly focused their attention on Tao Yu.

The title of magic genius had begun circulating within a small circle, and Tao Yu could clearly feel his legendary status beginning to take shape.

After leaving the Broken Cauldron Bar, Tao Yu directly raised his Magic Wand and summoned the Knight Bus.

Swoosh~

The next moment, the wizarding world’s bus had already stopped in front of the bar...
