Alicia

The doorbell rang.

“I am opening it” he got up from the bed and went to the door, while I just sat on the couch.

I was eagerly looking for who was there. It is almost night now.

I got up too. I went there and saw Selena and Nick. Why are they here?

“H-Hey” I stuttered by mistake and Asher looked at me and gave me a smile which actually meant, ‘shut up or I will kill you right here’

I smiled back, half way saying ‘of course’ to him and looked at Selena. I smiled at her genuinely and she came and hugged me.

“Oh hey Selena!” I wished her as I hugged her close. It felt good to have a sister.

“Hey Alicia! I missed you” she got away and looked at me. “I just came to see you now because I know you will be too busy tomorrow!”

I smiled. Yeah, of course. After all, I am marrying a monster!

I don’t know if there was any other way out. I don’t know how Selena accepted me too. Maybe she is good at hearts and good in forgiving people or maybe she is also planning something like her brother.

We never know.

All I know is I am entering a house where everyone wants to hurt me and there is just no way out.

I smiled at all of them as Nick and Asher hugged and told each other that things are okay now. Well, things might be okay for them, but not for me. I am freaking out. I don’t wanna marry him!

“So, what were you two doing?” Selena smirked at me. Well, if I loved him, I would be blushing like crazy right now, but I freaking hate thinking about anything related to intimacy with him.

“Going to sleep” I smiled.

“Yeah, together” Asher looked at me and smirked.

I Wanted to scoff, but smiled back. “Of course” I added.

Trust me, I don’t wanna die later on.

“Ohho ohho” she laughed. “Love birds”

I just smiled and looked down. If only she knew what was really going on.

“So we just stopped by. Now we are going back” Selena smiled.

“Ah you should stay--” I said.

“Nope, we are good. Bye Allicia” she smiled and half smirked. “Bye Asher”

“Bye bye”

“Byee”

We both said and Nick did too. Then they both left. I sighed.

“Good,” he smirked at me and went to the bed. “Follow what I said”

I knew my words wouldn’t make a difference so I went and laid beside him. I kept my distance.

I just laid and looked at the ceiling. Everything was awesome until his hands surrounded me. I didn’t know how to feel about that.

Selena

I was out in the car with Nick. We were out to purchase the dresses for tomorrow. You know, their wedding. But I went to check on Asher and Alicia. I wanted to make sure Asher has changed.

I don’t know why, but I had a feeling that maybe Alicia was not genuinely happy. So I just needed to confirm. And that could have only happened if we went home unannounced.

She didn’t look hurt nor did it look like he was treating her badly. Everything was great so I think I should stop worrying about them. It is okay, I think.

“What are you thinking?” Nick asked and I sighed.

“Nothing, Nick. Just was worried if Asher really changed”

“I think he did”

“Hm same”

He nodded and kept driving. We have already bought the dresses and now we’re heading home.

“You know, it is pretty great. I mean, that Asher is finally getting married” he looked at me simultaneously and said with a smile.

“Yeah, right! I can’t believe time passed by so quickly”

“Hm sure, Sel”

I nodded. I don’t know what is true, so I’d better believe what I am seeing.

We reached our house and I got out of the car and took our clothes from the car. We went inside and kept the clothes on the table in the living room.

“But I was thinking” I heard him. I looked at him. “Yeah?”

“About us” he came to me and looked into my eyes. His hand traced mine, and he kissed my cheeks. “When are we getting married?”

I blushed and got away. “Ah, slow down. At least let them get married first”

“Oh they are getting married tomorrow” he smirked. “But baby, I guess we should plan our marriage”

“This is night, mister, sleep. We will talk about this tomorrow--”

“Yeah sure, but I am arranging someone to tell us the best plan for our marriage”

“Ah… really?”

“Yeah”

“That’s awesome,” I smiled. I knew he was so excited for our marriage and I didn’t wanna make him sad about anything.

“You are so good”

“Ah, what did I do?”

“Everything”

We both smiled and went inside and slept. He might be thinking about our marriage but I am thinking about theirs.

Why do I have a feeling that their marriage wouldn’t be so good?
