His Captive Girl

Alicia

“I… uh… nothing. I am just tired” I spoke the truth as I didn’t have anything to say and also I hoped that maybe he understood me and let me really rest.

“Why tired?”

“Uh, what do you mean…?”

“Why are you tired? We didn’t even do anything”

“Well, I am not used to traveling so much…”

“We just went to a restaurant and then to our new house”

“Yeah… and before that, to our own house”

“That doesn’t count as traveling”

I sighed. I can’t win over him.

“Tell me, are we going?” I just asked him directly.

“Well, have some rest and then we will go”

I was really happy when he said that. “How long do I get!?” I asked him.

“One hour”

“Thank you”

“Hm”

I smiled and he nodded and went out. I smiled bigger. At least now for some time, I am safe. I went to one of the bedrooms and sat down and started sleeping. I was really tired and I knew it when I fell asleep instantly.

I woke up after forty-five minutes due to my alarm. I didn’t wanna anger him, so I made sure I was ready within one hour. I went to the bathroom and washed my face. Then I looked at myself once more and then sighed.

I went downstairs and he was sitting on the Sofa. I went and sat across him and he looked at me.

“Correct time?”

“Hm,” I replied.

He smirked. “Good. Now, let’s come on”

I followed him to his car as usual and then we went to a wedding gown palace.

I tried all the good pieces they had and I really didn’t look good at all. Even if I did, it was too short.

“I don’t know, Asher” I finally sighed. “You choose”

He sighed and chose a good gown. They had millions of gowns. So I was trying to fit in. But he chose something different and everyone liked it. By everyone, I meant Asher, me, and the woman who was showing.

“Final?” he asked me again.

“Yup”

He nodded and then went to the counter. It was my size, so we didn’t need to give it. I was really happy about that, or who knows if he would have been angry for some reason, you never know why he would be angry at you.

I went behind him as I got the dress packed. I kept it in the car and sat down on the back seat.

“Beside me” I heard him as he sat on the driver’s seat. I sighed and went out and sat beside him.

The car started and I just looked at the front as I was really tired and had no wish or strength to go anywhere else. I just wanted to go home but I was not sure if we even had one. I mean, I think that it is obvious that we won’t go back to Selena’s house. He made a big mess there and I also think that we won’t live in the new house. It is for after the wedding, right?

I sighed and then looked sideways. I didn’t wanna look like I cared or anticipated our next destination.

“So, tell me what you always dreamed of, in your married life” I heard him as he slowed down the vehicle.

I took a deep breath. Well, anything but this.

“I-I never really thought about my married life…”

“Oh really? Why?”

“Uh… I was always busy… doing household work… so…”

“In that case, your mother should have told you to marry a thousand times!”

“Uh… no…”

“Well, it’s okay, you will have a brand new vision of a married life then” he sped up the car.

No, Actually I won’t because I have seen my ‘mom’ getting tortured too. Well, I, of course, am talking about my foster parents but literally, I have seen her getting punished for things she never did wrong, and also tortured for the mere pleasure of them.

I looked down as I suddenly felt scared. I knew I was sitting beside him and he could hurt me at any moment.

“Tell me about your siblings. Do you have any?”

“No… I don’t have any family…” I lied because I knew that it was gonna be so hard to explain anything and with someone like him, you are likely to be not believed.

He looked at me for a moment and then back at the road.

“So no one will come to your rescue?”

I looked at him with sadness. What does he mean? What is he gonna do? Why?

“Oh, I just mean, to ruin our wedding”

I scoffed. “No”

He looked at me and smirked. “Well, that is good, isn’t it?”

“Yeah it is”

“Where are we going?”

“Hotel”
