His Captive Girl

Alicia

I was taken aback by his words. I knew that something bad was coming, but I didn’t know that it was this bad. I mean, why? I know that I broke his heart but come on, I told him all the reasons why I did it and also apologize too. What else does he want?

“A-Asher…” I took a deep breath as my breath shattered. “T-Tell me what I can do to stop that…”

“Well, technically nothing because I want what I want, well, first I wanted you as my girl, but now I still want you but as my maid, and you don’t get to decide what you become”

“You… have changed…” I confessed.

“Oh bitch, you are the reason!”

I was hurt when he called me that. I mean… I… I couldn’t stand the fact that he has changed so much and I am the reason! I am the reason why someone so good became so… evil.

“Look, Asher… I really am sorry… please stop this…”

“Well, my dear to-be-wife, don’t worry, I’ll love you”

I looked at him and sobbed. I don’t know his intentions. He had this evil smirk on his face that scared the shit out of me. I just wanted him to become like before. Maybe leave me, or keep me… but just… become that lovely guy again. I hated this version of him so badly.

“I-I hope” I finally replied.

“Well, get up, I changed my mind, I ain’t hurting you right now”

I took a deep breath and smiled a little. Maybe he isn’t that bad yet. Maybe that humanity still lingers within him and that evil smirk is just a facade he chose to hide himself in.

Maybe he is just showing his evil side because people have hurt his good side way too much but his good side is still within him.

I got up and then followed him to the car.

“Let’s go eat something”

“Ah okay,” I said even though my stomach was full. I ate so much.

Suddenly thinking about the food, I remembered I said that we will do something about that cake Nick made. I don’t know if I will be going back there because we fought there and I have to be with Asher…

“Uh… can I make a call…?”

“To whom?”

“Uh… Selena…”

“Why the hell?”

“Actually… uh… Nick made a cake… I promised him that I would do something… it was burned… so I want to inform Selena”

He didn’t reply and the car started. I looked at him to know if he even heard it but he was indifferent and kept on driving. My eyes were fixed on him while his eyes were fixed on the road.

I looked at the front and at him simultaneously.

“You can” I heard him and smiled. See! He is still the same. No matter how much he acts to be heartless, his heart is still soft as… silk!

I took out my phone and found her number.

I called her but then he snatched the phone.

“Asher?” I whispered to him while he stopped the car because a car was right in front of us.

He put the call on speaker.

“Hey?” I heard Selena.

I looked at him to ask if I could speak but he didn’t say anything.

“Actually Selena, that cake Nick made, do something of it and don’t throw---”

Suddenly he grabbed my hair and pulled it harshly. “Ah!!” I yelled.

“Alicia? Alicia!? What’s happening?” I could hear Selena. He left me and I looked at him teary-eyed.

“Nothing, Sel, just a price of talking to you” he hung up the call and I looked at him while taking almost no breath even though I was taking deep ones.

Two tears rolled down my cheeks feeling that numb pain again. I don’t wanna be tortured.

“You know why I did it? Now she will never contact you”

I looked at him and started crying silently. I thought he was good. But maybe I was wrong. He has changed and I better accept that fast. I don’t wanna get hurt so much.

I looked out of the window while the car started moving again. I was crying badly from inside. I wanted to scream. I stroked my hair and scalp.

The car was moving at a steady speed, but my world was racing. I knew that there was a ditch right after the small road I was running on, but there was no way to stop because I was not running on my own. Someone was making me.

The scene out of the car looked beautiful. I didn’t know how I would be able to be with him if he is gonna behave like this. And also… I am like… maid? What does a maid do? Daily chorus? I know that I could do all of them, I have always done house chorus and I know it well. But I just hope that he remains calm, and like… cool. I don’t wanna face his anger because it is really scary.

I sighed thinking about my future. This is hell.
