Epic Of Ice Dragon: Reborn As An Ice Dragon With A System

Chapter 2143: The Training Continues

-----

After Amethyst finished her meal, she slept like a log, completely unconscious and defenseless. If a monster were to come, they could easily take a nibble off her before she were to even wake up.𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

I protected her from danger using a barrier, while I started upgrading her Soul Gear and making more for her, while also checking my own and upgrading it with these new materials... might as well, right?𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

I also absorbed several of these materials through the food I cooked and ate, helping my Titan Soul Heart develop and grow stronger, enhancing my Titan Abilities even further...

At the same time, I also refined my Spiritual Energy and strengthened it by absorbing a lot of these crystals, all while I refined the Essence of Heaven and Earth and strengthened its potency within my body.

I might as well train these things and get as much strength as I can from this whole trip, I wouldn’t be easily allowed to do as much hunting in these realms because they’re precious resources.

So that’s why it’s better to make sure to not let any of this go to waste...

The next day I taught Amethyst various Soul Manipulation Techniques, and she even learned a few Divine Abilities out of my classes. This fledging learned quite fast these things, and although she was very curious, her ability to adapt and imitate what I did were superb, easily working on whatever she was told to do and doing it quite easily and quickly.

It seemed that her talent was the real deal, and the only thing she needed was a proper mentor to guide her through the right path. She learned from me various things, such as Soul Aura, Soul Shield, Soul Barrier, Soul Weapon, and more, all of them valuable to go against Soul Beasts, and even more against Umbral, a monster that wields demonic power and chaotic power, both capable of destroying souls with ease.

After so much training, we had a feast for dinner to help her recover, and then she went to sleep again. And once the next morning arrived, and once Amethyst was up, we ate breakfast and continued without further ado. I had already taught her the Soul Techniques I wanted, and she was putting them go good use. She was getting used to this, with each new battle, she was becoming more careful.

And it was necessary, as the difficulty increased a lot as we delved deeper, we met humanoid crystal soul beasts resembling draconic knights, soldiers, or giants, they fought using weapon techniques, and were mostly of Light and Darkness Element, which were much stronger than the others.

This time, Amethyst was genuinely challenged. We only went through three battles before we had to take another break until the next day... good thing that the time dilation here was huge, so we could take it easy as much as we wanted.

On the next day, Amethyst had gained more confidence and determination, fighting more fiercely and now while also knowing how to properly fight using her powers and her new soul abilities. Her fighting was fierce, as she used her super sharp claws to tear apart her foes mercilessly, wielded her magic to bombard them, and further combined the two as she used unique spells and techniques of her own.

With each series of battles that passed, and with each battle she finished, Amethyst seemed less and less tired, and stronger and more confident, but also not as reckless anymore... her changes were notorious, her Divinity was shining brightly, and she was beginning to finally overcome the Rank 10 Wall and reach even further beyond.

Her Divinity was being refined, and her body was growing stronger, taller, and also slenderer. Her scales were becoming harder and harder, now over a hundred times tougher than ever before.

Once we reached the depths of this Soul Sanctuary, it has been a week and a half since our training began, and Amethyst had finally reached the final challenge, a gigantic door leading to a room within the depths of this Soul Sanctuary, where the ”Area Boss” was located.

These places were similar to Dungeons on a way, and that also meant the occasional boss battle and loot in the form of crystal soul treasure chests, containing valuable materials, soul items, and soul gear.

By now, Amethyst’s soul had at least become a three hundred times what it used to be, and with the protection of her super upgraded Soul Gear, that was a complete given. She had mastered her magic even more, and the usage of her unique powers and her combination of Earth and Light Magic.
