“Yes, our parents are the best in the world.” agreed Qin Xue, nodding. She felt fortunate to have been blessed with such loving parents.

“You two are something else. If your mother didn’t raise you, what else should she have done, just dumped you?”> asked Nangong Shulan, quite embarrassed by their overflowing praises.

“Mom would never do that. Speaking of which, what’s for dinner today?” Qin Xue, who was hungry, asked.
