“Okay.” Jingtao replied, before scurrying over to the pram with the mini-buns in his hands, intending to feed his younger brothers.

“Xue Ling, leave them to sit there; come and eat.” Qin Xue instructed Xue Ling after glancing at the kids.

“Hmm, okay little masters, no crawling around. You might fall and it will hurt.” With a quick assent to Qin Xue’s instructions, Xue Ling gently warned the kids before joining them for dinner. The Yu Ze brothers each took a mini-bun and began chewing slowly and contentedly.

Yu Ze ate happily, fully satisfied. Food was so delicious. He decided that from this point onwards, he would only eat food and no longer consume his mother’s milk. The miniature buns that the children were eating were made with the dough that Qin Xue had later prepared. She boiled all of the milk beforehand, putting half of it in a thermos for the children to drink, and used the other half to make the mini-buns. If An Hao liked them, she didn’t have to serve it, but could give her half to carry home and enjoy later.
