The Supreme Martial King Shocking All Realms

The main reason White Star Taoist asked him here was to inquire about the whereabouts of Divine Fire Daoist. Having already answered that, he didn’t need to stay any longer.

But just as he was about to leave, White Star Taoist suddenly said: “Young friend Yang Chen, please wait a moment!”

Yang Chen was extremely surprised, he asked in confusion: “Do you have any more doubts about Elder Divine Fire?”

“Not at all. If he has things to do and doesn’t want to see me, it’s of no use no matter how much I make a fuss. I believe, after he takes care of things, he will come to see me. My request for you to stay is for something else!” White Star Daoist said.

Yang Chen uasked in confusion: “Does Elder White Star have anything else to ask me?”

“What do you mean ‘does’? Didn’t I tell Master Qian Gong already, I am going to betroth Luo Yihong to you? I thought he should have given this marriage matter some thought, have you considered it? If it’s suitable, let’s fix it.” White Star Daoist said.

Yang Chen was stunned: “Wait, Elder White Star, are you serious?”

“Of course, I’m serious. I cannot claim to have golden words and jade tongue, but I certainly don’t play around. How could I casually decide on my disciple’s lifelong matter?!” White Star Taoist huffed.

As she spoke, Luo Yihong’s blush had spread to her ears.

Yang Chen didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. He originally thought that White Star Daoist wanted to inquire mostly about the whereabouts of Divine Fire Daoist, and the matter concerning Luo Yihong was just a joke.

But looking at it now, White Star Daoist was clearly serious.

He felt a headache coming. He now understood why Luo Yihong blushed so hard the second time she saw him.

Haphazardly getting married to Luo Yihong was definitely not an option. Trying to start from Luo Yihong would probably not work. This woman was clearly obedient to her Master, and would likely not dare voice any opinion on who her Master decided on her marrying.

After thinking a bit, he could only reply to White Star Daoist in embarrassment: “Elder White Star, this… might not be appropriate. Miss Luo and I have only met twice, and additionally, you do not know me very well, how can you make such a hasty decision?”

“Hasty decision? What hasty decision? I have considered this deeply. You are Divine Fire’s successor and Yihong is my disciple. If we can’t be a couple, then you two can. Well, I did research you. Your appearance is not outstanding but it wouldn’t disgrace Yihong. Your talent for cultivation is more than enough. Moreover, you are a core disciple of Xuandao Sect, so it’s a match of equal status. Why would I object to such an arrangement?” White Star Taoist said matter-of-factly.

This really put Yang Chen in a bind. He had been caught off guard, if he knew this would happen, he wouldn’t have come today.

“So, are you unwilling to agree?” White Star Daoist demanded.
